I will be dialing the edging down. Morning one of rest has morning wood so I’m definitely encouraged.

I do not like PE work with cock rings, actively. I have tried and I do have some routines where I use horse shoe cock rings to good effect but am leery on this idea.

Clamping and pumping is a method I’ve been very interested in trying. It works much like expected, if I don’t masturbate and edge to excess. I appreciate your suggestions, however.

If you have the means to measure, what do you find to be the optimal temperature TG?

I’ve found one rated at temperatures of 60C 52C 45C and which uses some innovative tech… Graphine heating pads inside! It does say the ambient room temperature will affect the temperature possibly by several degrees.

Actually, I was able to find the manual and snap a picture of the six (6) temperature ranges out of the manual. I use the 4th setting.

Super, so 126 F is 52 C, the middle setting on the pad I looked at: https://www.ama … /dp/B077M6CN8Z/

Comes in 12" x 15" or 12" x 24" - I recon either size would do, although I note you linked a 12 x 24 pad, but suspect too much overlap could cause an auto shut-off if the pad over heated?

I can say I do NOT need that length of pad. It simply was the only size the pad came in and it was the pad and price I wanted. Shorter should be more usable as the overlap can be cumbersome.

Pick the size you like that covers your tube. The comfortable temp is by far the most important thing.

I totally agree. At first I used my pad at the highest setting and later on the medium setting.
If the pad is too hot, the cylinder walls can become too hot as well.
I even burned myself once and a lot guys seems to get blister more easily when they start packing the tube.

It seems a lot of american pe guys are leery on cockring ballooning.
In german forums it is quite popular and some guys even replace jelqing with cockring ballooning.

What you are describing is called cockring clamping which relies on a very constrictive, hard or tight cockring.
Like you, I would prefer real clamping over cockring clamping too.

But cockring ballooning is more like a intense edging session.
The goal is to balloon up the shaft and glans while keeping your EQ above 100%.
Therefore a very soft and non constricting cockring is needed to allow bloodflow.
The biggest difference to constricting exercises like ulis or clamping is the involvement of your pelvic floor.
You really need to work to balloon up and in the long run this helps to build a foundation to keep and maintain temp gains.
But the biggest difference compared to clamping is the effect on EQ.
You build it up instead of compromising it ;)

In my case I love the Oxballs cockring for this type of training (“powerballs”, a full package ring I use cock only) or sportfucker “the wedge” if I need more constriction.
Especially if IR light is used , the results can be very addicting.
Unfortunately this method takes time, i.e. 20-30 Min.
So not many try it because the time investment is too high when combined with a regular routine.

Since you are already edging before your routine, I thought it could be a good fit to your pump work ;)

I got a tube burn. Pics are in my log. It was on the top base of the shaft back when I used a cordless hot water bottle for a heating pad.

Yeah, I think it is worth a shot to intensify the warm up/edging.

The cockrings were about 5 Dollar each.
I just did a quick search on amazon. This is the model I use the most.I really like to wear it as all day cock ring and is great for warm-up purposes and long sessions.It is the only cock ring I can wear over night without problems.
So I think you won’t waste money on this one as it is a well rounded design and should be "one size fits all" thanks to the stretchy material.

I am tweaking a hybrid method to see if clamping can be used to enhance results

Session Notes

1. Edge for around 80 minutes, massaging occurs concurrently during edging. IR lamp used and silicone lube (Wicked) used. Heating pad set on #4 setting, 2 hour shutoff.

2. Perform 10 minutes of clamping during edging time.

3. Lube penis and entry of tube (still using 2” tube for curve correction), as long as my forefinger in depth, with vaseline. Enter tube flaccid. Used heating pad contact for entire session,

[4. For first 120 seconds (2 minutes), cycling between just at 5HG (0 holes covered) and 7.5HG (2 holes covered). Up cycles were around 2-3 seconds, down was around 1-2 seconds.

5. For 120 seconds (1 minutes) cycling between just at 5HG (0 holes covered) and 12.5HG (3 holes covered) Up times were 3 seconds. Down times were about 2 seconds.

6. For 60 Seconds (1 minute) cycling between 20HG, for 1 second, 12.5HG for 2 seconds, and 5HG for 4 seconds. Graduating upwards.

6. For 60 seconds (1 minutes) cycling between 15HG and 5HG using 10 second gradient upwards and stopping at 15 for 1 or 2 seconds. Down time of 5 seconds between cycles

3. Clamping post session has taken me to new MSEG of 6.57”! During the 5 minutes of post session clamping it was larger and larger and if not for orgasming in the clamp (due to post pump sensitivity, edging and prior clamping, I believe it would have been larger.

4. No edema noted! Which is extremely important!

10. Post session clamp for 6 minutes under IR lamp.

Other Notes

1. PIs are STRONG

4. Edema noted just under glans, marked at 6.37” girth at that point

2. Perform 15 minutes of clamping during edging time. Session just ran a touch long.

3. Lube penis and entry of tube (still using 2” tube for curve correction), as long as my forefinger in depth, with vaseline. Enter tube flaccid. Used heating pad contact for entire session.
**Entered tube erect, heat setting of 4 was too high so I had to hold off and wait for 3 to be more adequate. Normally entering tube flaccid 4 is good.

Effort to be erect entering tube is being made. In the tube I kegeled and the seal for the session feels way different.

Session Notes

1. Edge for around 40 minutes, massaging occurs concurrently during edging. IR lamp used and silicone lube (Wicked) used. Heating pad set on 3 setting, 2 hour shutoff.

2. Perform 10 minutes of clamping during edging time.

3. Lube penis and entry of tube as long as my forefinger in depth, with vaseline. Enter tube fully erect. Used heating pad contact for entire session, on setting 3.

4. For first 120 seconds (2 minutes), cycling between just at 5HG (0 holes covered) and 7.5HG (2 holes covered). Up cycles were around 2-3 seconds, down was around 1-2 seconds.
