Hey all! I’m pretty sure I’m gonna buy a $150 pump today or within the next few days. Any news or info on any gains? Is it even worth the money? I’ve done quite a lot of research but I’d still like to hear from you guys if you have any suggestions or advice! Thanks!

Your $20 is for the hand pump only. He needs the entire system.

I placed the order today. Hopefully I’ll get it next week. I got it off of lap. I’m planning on making a log as well to see my progress and do some math for peak gains.

Yes I would, the main reason being this pump has a gauge so you know exactly how much pressure you are using. This makes injury a lot less likely.

Water pumps like the Bathmate work on a different principle to air pumps, so I don’t think they will ever make one with a guage.
As far as I understand, you can water pump with a normal setup - if you look at pumps which are designed for bleeding brake systems (which is what most guys use for pumping anyway), if you buy the full bleeding kit you will see they have a reservoir to collect the brake fluid, between the ‘cylinder’ and the pump. It will work to catch water for water pumping too! Any you get to keep the guage.
