Shedding the Snake: Peeling to Remove Discoloration

Hobby, folks, thanks for the advice.

I’m just looking for a further bit of advice.

I did do my first peel yesterday. First off because my discolouration area is large, I did the peel in two halves. I did do a test peel and that seemed fine, so I went for a larger area.

I wash as I do in the morning, then I applied Compound W to a smallish area. Blimey, it hurt! But I followed the instructions. Within 24 hours this area has gone dark, although coverage looks patchy.

Later, in the evening I applied more compound W to the upper area of discolouration. This seemed much less painful. However, that area doesn’t appear to have darkend!

Then it struck me, it has to be because I didn’t wash the area first, because I left the liquid on an equal amount of time! So perhaps the skin was oily and acted to halt the effect of the peel?

So my question really is two fold.

1 - How long should you leave between peels? If the area really hasn’t darkened after say 3 days, I would assume coverage to the area hasn’t been achieved? In this case would it be possible to apply another peel to the areas which haven’t darkened rather than wait for more than a week?

2 - Really a damn good effort to clean and remove oil from the skin seems a key factor to getting good coverage and penetration. Can anyone suggest a cheap and available product to achieve this?

3 - It seems the 6-7 minutes i left the solution on isn’t long enough to get the effect I want. Next time I’m going to leave the solution on for say 15-20 minutes, is this OK?

I actually found the most painful part removing the liquid when it had formed a film! Ouch!

I’m no expert on peels, but I know a bit about penetration of various skin preparations. Certainly de-greasing the skin first will have a substantial affect on the results, especially if you are naturally fairly oily.

Using ‘washing up’ liquid, the same stuff you would use to wash greasy dishes, should be as strong as you need to go.

I certainly would not jump from 6-7 minutes to 15-20 minutes in one go. See what results you get from this first attempt, and let us know.

Hopefully someone who has tried the same product will chime in with advice.

I use regular rubbing alcohol first to strip the oil first. Works really well.

My skin took several days to turn dark. Be patient. If you burn again too soon you may run into trouble. There are a few reports in this thread of guys burning too deep or often. One is only a few posts back: Revolution - Shedding the Snake: Peeling to Remove Discoloration

Salicylic acid does a good job of cutting through oil. I didn’t notice a difference when I used alcohol or other methods to remove oil before burning. Some skin is more resistant. The top of my shaft was one of those areas, probably because the skin is thicker from being rubbed by clothing. Leave it on longer.

I waited at least a week before burning an area again, though usually 2 weeks.

Guys, just a quick update from me and a few further questions.

My discolouration runs say from half-way down my shaft and to the tip.

The process mentioned here I have followed and it is yielding results (I’ll do a proper post on this at some stage soon).

HOWEVER, the process has only seemed to work on the areas BELOW my foreskin (I’m uncut).

When I follow the usual routine (I’m using Compound-W 17%) on my foreskin area, especially the upper part of the shaft, the process doesn’t appear to work. I only get a mild “hot” feeling (not the discomfort felt below when treating below this area) and the area doesn’t then turn darker, dry out and visibly peel. I assume this is because the foreskin is thicker skin in this area?

So my questions here are this;

1 - Have any uncut guys experience similar? How did you solve this? Can the uncut guys who have peeled report back on this?

2 - So what now to tackle discolouration on the foreskin?

a - Do I require to up the strength of the Salc acid from 17% for this area? If so can anyone recommend to what % and what brand is available and been tested or used by others?

OR b - Do I just continue to treat this area as normal say every week until the process takes hold? If indeed it will take hold via this method? Or perhaps try application, then wash, then straight away another application?

Just to note the foreskin on the underside part of the shaft seems slightly more prone to the process, however, it still is more resistant to it than lower down the shaft.

Thanks in advance for your help,

I have experienced about 75% removal of all discoloration with the following routine -

1/ made myself erect (I figure with the skin stretched I could cover more surface area)

2/ applied CW gel to the entire shaft

3/ removed white layer after 2 hours of applying the CW gel

4/ Soaked in a bath for 20 min every day for the following 4 days

5/ instead of applying moisturizing cream I applied aloe gel on days 2, 3, 4 and 5

Notes

1/ don’t under estimate what the burning pain will be beforehand - have a glass of cold water on hand and do the procedure somewhere that you could rest after the fact - I actually felt faint after applying the gel - I thought this may have been some cruel practical joke after applying the gel

2/ try and avoid having the CW get in contact with your balls - the pain is much more excruciating on your balls than on your shaft

3/ be prepared for the fact that you’ll have to see your dick in a state that you’ve hopefully never seen it in before

4/ pray you recover cause it would seriously suck not to

Good Luck and Thanx for the info fellas

PS: and I know as a noob that my post may be taken with a grain of salt but hey, all I could say is try it yourself

tekseven (and all others who have gone through the chemical peel process to remove discoloration),

From the day you did your initial burn, how many days did it take for your penis to look and feel normal again? I guess what I’m getting at is that I live with my girlfriend and she is going on a vacation with her family for seven days. She doesn’t know that I PE, and it would be hard to deny that there was something going on if she saw my dick looking all chemically burned so I absolutely DO NOT want her to know. If I do the peel on day 1 of her leaving, will my unit be back in normal shape (barring any unusual setbacks) by day 7 when she returns?

Thanks!

From reading here, it seems quite difficult to get an even burn until you have some practice. Even if you did manage to heal fully in 7 days (would have to be a gentle burn) you may still be patchy.

Has she noticed it getting darker? Would she notice if it was suddenly several shades lighter?

FG,

Thank you for the feedback. No, she hasn’t noticed the over all darkeining that I’ve had (actually, like many before me, I actually like my new bronzed tone), but my problem is actually two spots where the skin has darkened more than the rest.

It’s strange, maybe I’ll try taking a picture and posting it but they’re two random splotches on the underside of my shaft and about half-way up towards the glans. When i got them, I thought that they were just minor skin bruising so I figured they’d go away in no time. But I’m pretty sure they’re here to stay. I took about a 3-4 month deconditioning break a while back and they didn’t fade at all.

I have since resumed jelqing and stretching. The spots haven’t gotten any darker or lighter so I don’t think they will get worse, but they are unsightly and I would really like to get rid of them.

Has anyone “spot treated” small stains like that? Did it work? Ha, I feel like I’m talking to my drycleaner. Anyhow, I don’t mean to hijack this thread at all, but I thought it was relevant. If any mods think this warrants it’s own thread, please let me know.

Thanks!

"This is my boomstick!"

I’m betting that spot treating won’t produce the results you want. They’ll end up lighter than the rest, unevenly burned, or you’ll end up lightening the surrounding area in a few places. You sure aren’t likely to get it the way you like in only one peel.

The “new skin pinkness” took about a week to disappear after my skin had peeled. Figure about 2 weeks from the burn. Any splotchiness takes a lot longer to blend.

Hi tekseven,

What CW stands for?

Thanks in advance….

Guys, any help on my post a few back about peeling the foreskin, i.e. skin which appears resistant to the treatment, thus far?

Seek9,
CW is Compound W Wart Remover.

Hey Hobby and the Rest of the Snake Shredders!
Thanks for the great discovery!

I wish I would have ran into this thread sooner. It turns out I been shedding the snake the hard way ( Brown spots on glans ) My main way was to kill/drown the skin cells by soaking and sufficating my snake in an air tight rubber glove filled with Prel shampoo for 4-7 hours. I did this about 15 times but many of the deep brown spots I had on my glans still remain (much went away too though). I even used sand paper a couple times which worked first try but it hurt like mad when the sore got wet and for some brown spot I had to sand pretty deep… don’t do this unless you are a real man. :) As you can imagine the wart remover burns are not painful for me at all.

A few days after seeing this post I bought Dr Scholl’s Clear Away and Compaund W (CW) 17% Wart Removers (10 bucks each). After a bit of experimenting for a couple days I noticed CW worked way way way better than Dr. Scholl’s, a perfect burn to the applied array every time with much less pain than Dr. Scholl’s. Since I had some experience with shedding and saw good initial results on the biggest brown spot, I did all the brown spots around my glans, about 20 in all spread all over (These are all from masturbation with no lube through my youthful years). After about 1.5 weeks the brown spots I have been so self concious about for the last 10 years are almost all gone! I’ll try to keep you guys posted on my results.

Another note, I have been waiting for the skin to turn dark brown then I pick off the skin if they peel off easily, 3-4 days. I don’t have time to let it come off by itself. If you do pull them off too early you are left with more of a pinker skin and scabbiness for a few extra days but it does blend in a few days after that with your other natural skin tone.

Thanks a bunch.

Have any of you considered something like microdermabrasion? It’s effective on darkened areas of the face and other body parts, I don’t see why it wouldnt work on your dick

Has anyone used ice to numb the shaft before the peel? Just trying to deal with the pain alittle better cause I got a lot of discoloration.
