Shedding the Snake: Peeling to Remove Discoloration

Have definitely considered that, and very likely I will do it. I’m just waiting till I reach my final goal.

So I decided to give this experiment a shot. I bought some Compound W and put about a dime sized amount on an area on the top side of my base. I waited for the stinging but barely felt any. I applied some more and felt some stinging but not nearly as bad as I expected. I’m guessing the more it stings the better the burn so I’m fearing I won’t get good results. How thick did you guys apply the liquid?

I’ve read all 36 pages and I think this is the kind of thread where more information is confusing, could we sum this up?
I (and I bet more) think that someone experienced should write a short step by step tutorial for this.

What I mean something like this:
1. Buy Compound W Wart Solution 17.5% Salicylic Acid.
2. Apply to your discolored area for 5-8 minutes.
3. Wash it off.
4. Apply some moisturizing creme.
5. Your affected area will turn darker the following days, do not scratch!
6. Let your skin layer fall off naturally, and enjoy a lighter unit.

And does anyone know a shop online that ships to Europe?

Start: 6.3 BPEL x 4.5 MSEG & 4.5 BSEG

Now: 7.7 x 4.7 x 5.5 BSEG

Goal: 8 x 6

You don’t need to ship to europe. You can in any country in europe buy exactly the same product (wart remover 17.5% salicylic acid), it will just have a different brand name. Go buy a wart remover in your local super-market. Also you don’t need step 3 (wash it off) since salicylic acid is self limiting. Finally, you might find it easier to use a gentler alpha hydroxy acid peel, it depends on the severity of your case.

Try Chemistdirect.co.uk - they have Compound W for £3.

I’ve done the wart remover thing and am trying something new. I’m going to a clinic on Wednesday to have a laser treatment which removes discolouration. I’m sure it will be painful as hell, but it will be worth it. Will update after.

Should we use it more than once? I mean, only one per shed, not everyday under the shedding right?

Also, should we use it all over the unit so it sheds proportionally or just on the discolored spots?

No not everyday, lol. I think you’ll notice after you do it that you definitely do not want to put this stuff back on right away. Be prepared for pain when you put it on btw.

Just put it on the dark spots.

Mick,

Good luck with the laser tomorrow.

Thanks MDC.

Unfortunately, I got a call from them today saying that they’re physician guy there advised them not to do it because of the area it’s on… fuck. That’s actually the second time this has happened. She told me to see my family doctor, or go to a dermatologist and explain the situation.

If I had been clear from the start and told them what exactly this was from, this might not have happened, cause they didn’t really seem to understand what caused it, since I said it was just due to burst blood vessels.

Anyway, off to the dermatologist I guess.

Apply it in one session, then wait a week to see the results. If you don’t get adequate frosting from a single application you can do a second coating immediately after washing off the first. One burn session, then wait. Start conservative. You can always burn deeper later, but you can’t take back one that’s too much.

When I started I did some small test areas, then I peeled in sections. I don’t recommend using it on large areas until you get a feel for how it works for you. Even then, be aware that different parts of the shaft skin are tougher than others. My “scary” peel was the area between circ scar and head. If I had done that part without having established a frame of reference from doing other areas I would have been even more worried.

Bummer, but I understand their position.

You’re right about the summary/tutorial. As for the application itself, you’ve mostly already done it. ;) My comments are in brackets.

What I mean something like this:
1. Buy Compound W Wart Solution [I used Equate brand] 17.5% Salicylic Acid.
2. Apply to your discolored area for 5-8 minutes [or longer].
3. Wash it off.
4. Apply some moisturizing creme.
5. Your affected area will turn darker the following days, do not scratch!
6. Let your skin layer fall off naturally, and enjoy a lighter unit.
[7. Repeat as necessary.]

The main reason I advise reading through this whole thread before burning is to help ensure that newcomers understand what the process entails and realize some men have encountered problems from peeling. This isn’t something to undertake lightly. Peeling isn’t a one size fits all solution to discoloration problems. However, wart remover seems to be relatively safe overall for the purpose, which is fortunate because it is cheap, widely available, and as long as we’re using the same brands or at least similar compositions it’s a standard with which we can compare results.

Ok I’ve done it this is my second week, these are my thoughts. And at the very end a question

The peel hurts like getting a tattoo or even more because it’s your dick. But the method works , the first complete peel (after the test) came out almost perfect my unit got lighter , the areas that where dark where less noticeable, I did another peel in these dark areas now a week later after the peel they are Way lighter than the rest of the unit and one side is very pink, I am hoping these areas will darken because seriously can’t keep burning my dick to get it all even , burning hurts.

The downside of this process is that now I don’t even now how long will it take for the lighter areas to darken and it’s already been two week without sex. So if you are going to do it, it works like a gem , but the downside is that might be a month before you get your unit to look normal enough
For being able to show it to some girl without embarrassment .

The question is the time it take to get darker

I seem to remember it being 6-8 weeks for the skin to darken back to normal tone. I remember posting about worries with the new super pink skin, but it really does return to normal pretty quickly. Within a month I’d expect it to be subtle enough that only you would really notice it.
