Girth gains.

After I finish my 3 months on the newbie routine, I want to concentrate on girth only. What would be a good combination of exercises for good girth gains? Any help is much appreciated.

Clamping. Check out drilla9’s thread in the Pics forum ( you can do a search on his name—I think the thread is called “Drilla’s clamp-o-rama.”)

Just be careful not to overdo it, and definitely wait until the Newbie routine is no longer working for you.

Also you may want to look into pumping, I know my base girth has gone up like crazy and I’ve just started.

Can I ask, why wait till the newbie routine no longer works? Adaption is a fundamental in my view.

I say the same as Ruz_.

You probably won’t get good progress if you undertrain for a long period before surprising the penis.
I’m getting good progress to work with the penis as if I worked with a muscle.

Keep putting intense pressure for a short amount of time in a 1½ month , and then take a good break before starting up again.
Then I would slowly build up the pressure again with a little more than the last time.

I would only switch exercise, if you can’t manage a way to keep putting high pressure on the dick on a short amount of time.

Thats my way of seeing it.

It’s basically an experiment, but this may be a way to transition into clamping/pumping:

It may also be a way to see how your penis is going to react to all this talk of “high pressure”.

Some say that starting clamping too soon may reduce your overall gain potential by basically “toughening” your dick. There is no real evidence that this is true, and due to the difficulty in testing such an idea, there probably never will be. I think that those who believe it are just using good old common sense. I am one of them.

My opinion, and it is only a very inexperienced opinion, is that if you want some quick gains, moving to clamping as soon as possible will most likely work. If you want to get the most gains overall, and end up with a bigger dick in the long run, I think that staying away from clamping as long as possible is the way to go.

From my reading here it seems that there are many who share my opinion in this regard.

Maybe he’s saying try to max out the newbie routine so that you know your penis is ready to do clamping?

Very well stated chronostone. Also, more injuries come from clamping than any other exercise. Have guys here forgotten Uli’s? They are effective, with much less risk, and are excellent for preparing the penis for clamping, but again, they should not really be done until you are getting no more gains from the Newbie Routine.

Once you have conditioned your dick past a certain level, it is very difficult to get any further gains. At this point you have to take a deconditioning break, but after the decon break, you will condition back to the previous high level very fast when you start PE again. If you want good long term gains, do everything you can to avoid becoming too conditioned. Successful PE is a marathon, not a sprint. Take longer to get the gains and you have a much greater chance of growing to the size you want, and keeping the gains you make.

I started clamping too early, and had to take extended decon breaks followed by a very slow build up to avoid reconditioning, to get any growth. Eventually I had to take a year off to fully decondition. Don’t make the same mistake.


Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

I have to second firegoats recommendation for ULIs. They are easy to do, allow one to get good expansion during the exercise, and are simpler (no special equipment). I got a certain amount of girth growth from jelqing (and I still jelq), but I feel I am getting good (and easy to perform) exercise out of ULIs. Give them a try.

The biggest problem with the Newbie routine is it’s name. Stretching and jelqing should be the foundation of any PE routine, even if you have been doing it for years.

Agreed. If it is working, don’t change it.

I have been also thinking that the name ‘newbie routine’ is a not a great choice. I read posts on this forum and others about people new to PE wanting to jump to new things (and then wonder why they get hurt). I have got to believe some if the desire to change stems from the name. Comments anyone?
