For as long as I can remember I would always masturbate and flex my PC muscle the entire time. I have done this for years, I would think at least 20 years. I would also masturbate daily and sometimes not ejaculating at all. I still masturbate daily without ejaculation. I now find myself having to flex my PC muscle in order to get a full erection, which I read is actually worse for EQ. I will also lose my erection fairly quick without stimulation. If I keep constant stimulation and in combination with constantly tightening my PC muscle I can hold an erection for hours while edging. I very seldom wake up with morning wood and if I do it is only 60 to 80% erect, there have been a couple times in the last year that it was rock hard. I find it hard to play with my cock without having to flex my PC muscle and it almost feels like it just flexes on it’s own and I can’t control it.

I believe my EQ is both mental and physical. I put a lot of pressure on myself to get hard and a fear of not being able to get hard. Combines with the inability to get a full 10/10 erection with relaxed PC muscle makes me believe I have an over used PC Muscle.

I can get a hard cock no problem, but I have to flex my PC muscle and need constant stimulation and I have slight PE problems at times. I have been to the Dr. (Not for ED but for heart) and they found no issue with my heart or any other problems with blood flow.

So I am thinking reverse kegels, jelqing, and cutting back on masturbation and just allowing my wife to rub and softly stimulate me while trying to be relaxed should help get me back to being able to get a full erection with PC muscle completely relaxed.

What are everyone’s thoughts?

It does sound like pelvic floor tension. There are lots of web pages about relaxing the pelvic floor; most are aimed at women, but the exercises mostly work for men as well (with the obvious exception of vaginal dilation etc.!).


Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

I’d say that you probably have a good amount of psychological ED going on there as well as potential other problems. Also, as we get older it becomes harder to maintain a full erection without some stimulation. It’s just to be expected.

right! stick to that and you will be fine at some point.
Dont get hung up with the psychological stuff.

Just take action.

Train yourself to get hard with less and less stimulation.

A good exercise is stretching your dick(manually or extender) and conciously relax(or reverse kegel) instead of tensing up(which is often the first reaction to stretching.)

Thanks everyone for all of you replies. I masturbate yesterday and brought myself to erection without using my PC. It took a very long time and was very hard to control. Only time my PC contracted was when I was having my orgasm. I noticed afterwords my cock and pelvic floor area was very sore and exhausted. Is that normal?
