Is a heat gun a good or bad idea for heating my dick for PE?

I’d like to direct the heat to my shaft and away from my balls

A heat gun has too high of heat. Hell, I used one of those to get floor tiles up off my floor and even burned myself in the process. So NO! It’s a terrible idea! You’ll burn your dick for sure!!

I use a hair dryer. It has far less heat, than a heat gun. Consider that instead.

What do you use to shield your balls?

For warmup, I hold out my dick and let the hairdryer blow on it for a while, moving my dick around, and keeping it far enough away not to burn myself. Then I set it on the bathroom vanity and let it blow as I’m doing my stretches. It’s far enough away, so the heat isn’t too intense. Just a nice warmth. It’s just what I had on hand and thought I’d give it a shot. It doesn’t seem to heat my balls and if it does, it’s not too much. I also don’t think I really need to worry about that? From what I read, heat kills sperm. For me, I figure it can kill as many of those little guys as possible.

I guess i got the red spots this way.
Better only use bare hand to stretch as hard as i can from now on before and after toilet.

Get a microwavable gel pack, heat it, and put it on over a damp cloth. They stay hot for quite a while so you can just put it back on as needed.

I have been using just that for a cushion to be placed under the theraband but I still feel that it is not quite adequate. I have run into some alarming issues such as a blue stripe that thankfully quickly disappeared, numbness from time to time, and I think an area around my glans is turning a very slight grey.
Is this something that happens as a result of wrapping too tightly or is the cotton I use not breathable enough? Have I made a severe mistake?
I have been looking for a better cotton to use and I am considering either rolled gauze or rolled health cotton, both from CVS.
