Finding xeno: a penis tale

I will definately look for your innovative HTW wraps at Walmart. (If Sam Walton only knew how much he has contributed to my PE effort…)

Ok, peanut butter and jelly everday for lunch for three months - then I’ll get the BIB.

I tried to reread your notes about your decon cycle. Could you summarize your findings concerning the proportion of “downtime” vs. “uptime”? I believe deconditioning is important; I can see how that could theorectially be how all of us are gaining. What I am unsure about is the ratio. Big Girtha has talked a lot about how he never quits and yet tries to keep some variety in his routine. I understand there is a biomechanical response to external stimulus that helps the tissues adapt to stress. I need to find a way to keep this mechanism guessing. I want the body’s natural adaptive mechanism to be shooting at a moving target; always one step behind me. ;)

I usually work 5 days with little variation, and then on the weekends I lighten the load considerably. I have yet to take any time “off” in the sense that I cease all PE.

I don’t mean to make you rehash the lessons you’ve learned, but you got any nuggets of wisdom you could pass on?

"Debate the idea..."

goon-

Yours is the seminal question of PE, IMO. There are plenty of guys on the Forum, the majority, as far as I can tell, that subscribe to training philosophies that are significantly different than that which I do. That’s OK, it takes all kinds to make the world go ‘round. But my philosophy does run quite counter to those of some of the Forum’s more popular characters. This doesn’t concern me, running counter to popular convention is a constant theme in my life. Nonetheless, I don’t like to invite controversy or conflict. Which, in part, has served as negative reinforcement to discussing my training philosophy. Another reason that I’ve been reluctant to be too descriptive and/or prescriptive in discussions of my training is that much of it has been fairly experimental, even in the context of PE (not to mention, somewhat risky, even in the context of PE), and so meaningful conclusions regarding its effectiveness are somewhat hard to draw, in that I’m a single data set. Which is not to say that that I can’t draw some conclusions with relative confidence, I can. But it will take a bout of thoughtful writing to properly serve justice to the subject. I can hardly refuse though, as you’ve so kindly agreed to present a thoughtful treatise on the subject of your thoughts on the age of the earth. So, sure, I’ll do it. I think I can get it done later today. I’ll make sure to let you know what new timeline to expect if I find that I can meet that one :)

p.s. If I could have just one hanger, it’d be the BIB Starter. FWIW.

Modesto, I’m delighted to hear it! And you are most welcome. It seems like I’m talking to a brick wall around here sometimes. It’s very satisfying when someone actually tries the advice that I’ve spent hundreds of hours coming to understand. So thank you.

I do think that having an internal shear couple surface, such as is provided by using 2 HTWs, or, as it sounds like you’re doing, one folded back over itself, is very important for comfort. One key thing though: the double HTWs should extend over the glans…that extra compression (confining pressure) on the glans really helps retard glans swelling and makes a HUGE difference in terms of comfort. Please continue to let me know how you find things as you work with this.

Thanks for the info, and taking the time. The reason I asked you, is because (after reading your progress log) you do not strike me as the kind that would blindly follow someone else’s routine and “hope” for gains. Furthermore, your experiments would be thoughtful, based on logic; your description of the results would be precise and honest. Engineer?

Thanks again.

I felt the HTW digging into the pocket between my shaft and corona during my second set. I rolled it over the glans for my third set and had no problem at all. This is really a great discovery! After 6 sets at 15#, the skin on my shaft was pink and healthy looking. There was no pain or bruising. Really a huge improvement!

I’m currently adding Theraband to the mix. I cover my shaft with two passes of an HTW and then apply an 8” x 1.5” wrap of Theraband at the hanger attachment site. The Wenchette’s internal surfaces aren’t as smooth as those of the Bib Starter, and the extra wrap of Theraband helps round the edges. I also thought I read somewhere that the HTW slips against the grips of the Wenchette. I’ll try a set without the Theraband tomorrow and see how it goes.

Many thanks again!

Damn. I just accidentally clocked a 32 minute set at 15#. I need to be more careful, now that I’m basking in such great comfort. Thanks again, Xeno.

As the implications of this new wrapping technique sink in, I’m reminded of another excellent thread directed to condom pumping.

It was discovered that pumping with a condom significantly reduced donut and allowed pumpers to use much higher pressures. The HTW seems to do something very similar for hangers.

This raises two questions:

1) Could hangers use condoms instead of HTWs to achieve the same reduction in donut?
2) Could pumpers use HTWs instead of condoms? One could use an HTW in a pump without lube, since the fabric of the HTW would slide very easily against the acrylic of the cylinder.

I wouldn’t exactly call it a new wrapping technique. I’ve been talking about it here for 6 months. But anyhoo, regarding:

1): Don’t know about for hanging, probably would though. I do know it works great for ADS.

2): Yes.

Not new. You’re right. Just new to me.

I’ve been thinking that the HTW works essentially like control hose that pregnant women wear to prevent edema. The link below advertises some of them. I find the descriptions interesting. The claim is that applying pressure to the legs reduces edema and actually improves circulation. Sound familiar?

Well yea. I’ve been telling you that the HTW does this for some time now :)

Sorry. Apparently I need to catch up on my reading.

Its all good Modesto. I’m just glad somebody’s “getting it”. I think you’re the lead pony in that race.

I hope you’re not upset about the slow adoption of some of your ideas. Sometimes it’s hard to get people’s attention. If you really want to spread the good word about HTWs, consider releasing the information in a “best ass” thread ;) .

Seriously, consider adding a link and an “ad” for HTW’s in your signature.
