I was just wondering how long did you use the newbie routine before you had to take a decon break or switch routines?

So far I’ve been doing it since I started with minor tweaks here and there and it’s still working for me so I don’t plan on stopping until the newbie routine no longer produces gains.

Then 01/15/08 EBPL: 6.25 EG 5.10 Now 10/05/09 EBPL 7.75 EG 5.25 Girth work for 103 days.

New Short Term Goal: EBPL 8.0 EG 5.5 Lifetime goal 9x6.5 PE log and journal

That’s the rule of thumb jb. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I’m going to do this routine until I notice no gains, measuring every 2 weeks. Then maybe just add in Orange bends and longer jelqing to keep it simple. If this worked for me until my goals, which I doubt it will, I would be stoked. Basically when progress stops, it’s time to change the routine to keep your dick guessing, like working out.

Jelq, ADS, repeat.

I aagree, keep your dick guessing. Also keep consistent and use the right intensity. The newbie period shouldn’t be longer than 6 weeks if I’m not mistaken.

As long as you are getting gains don’t mess with it.

People often make the mistake of thinking that advanced techniques are magic PE and that they should jump to them as soon as possible. The advanced stuff is really only for if and when the basics stop giving you gains. Some luck guys never do anything other than the newbie routine, reaching their goals without the basics ever stopping to deliver gains.

Calling it a Newbie routine always ends up sending a partially incorrect message. Newbies assume it is for newbies, and when you don’t think you are a newbie, time to move on. In reality, it is an excellent routine that can be used to reach your goals.

I think an excellent method to turn it into a complete routine is to use the multiplier. The multiplier is a number that you multiply your time or number of jelques by to increase it enough to continue gains. The question is when to use it and what should the number be.

As to when, I think as long as you are gaining, have great flaccid and EQ, then stay with what you are doing. If you find that you are starting to have less heavy and full flaccid and your gains are slowing but EQ is staying high, then you should use the multiplier.

As to what number, I think 1.10-1.15 is a good place to start. So you would multiply your number of jelques or time jelquing by lets say 1.10…this will increase your volumn by 10%. If you find that EQ drops slightly (not more than slight) your flaccid gets heavy and full again and gains start, you’ve nailed it.

If you find EQ stays the same and no gains begin, it might be a little low. You could then try 1.15 which is a 15% increase. Again see the results. Eventually you will find a multiplier that drops you back into the growth zone. You may only need to do this once every couple weeks or more, you have to base it on your reaction.

I think a good idea is if you have been using this multiplier successfully, and you use it again and no gains result, a 2 or more week decon might be wise.
