Just a little tip: do your kegels anyway. They have more benefits than meets the eye, and are honestly the best exercise for penile health.

You don’t have to do a lot to experience the benefits. Just go for something like 30 kegels, 3 times a day, every other day.

One more thing, when I jelq where should my fingers be placed, because I don’t want to cause any damage to my veins. For example, should my thumb be on top of my penis when I jelq or should my thumb and first finger be on the sides of my penis?

One last thing, why is it bad to ejaculate after my PE session? And if I do accidentally ejaculate will that cancel out that PE Session for the day?

Viva51, when you reach the Mid/Lower girth area squeeze just a little bit harder on that part only. The rest of jelq is done with normal pressure. The idea is to compensate to get equal result.

If you feel that the veins are in danger (the location of veins is individual), then the kind of grip that has less pressure to them is better. From your picture fingers on the side looks like to have less pressure to veins.
By the way, when I jelq fingers on the sides the thumb seems to produce much more pressure, than the forward finger. I compensate this by switching the direction of OK grip towards me and away from me. Then the location of the thumb on the side of my penis changes to other side.

This ejaculation issue is quite discussed already. The biggest effect if there is one, is that it usually decreases the blood flow temporarily (smaller flaccid). Good blood flow and bigger flaccid are good things when your penis starts to heal, but not necessity. That is why ejaculating doesn’t cancel workout.
Also ejaculation changes slightly the balance of different chemicals in the body (quite well known process), but I don’t think that they have any significant impact to PE (some real research about this would be quite handy).

Hm, on the visualization side of things (just like any athlete striving for excellency does):
Did you know that some variants of bambus can grow up to 18 yards within 60 days?
Now imagine what this would mean for P.E. ;)

- Have a clear picture of where you want to ( / are going to) get, size-wise. Feel what the endresult feels like in reality.
- Pretend your dick could grow to the size you have in mind.. just like those variants of bambus.
- Pretend that this is true for you until you forget pretending and just accept it.

All probably best done before and/or during the workout (or generally: _anytime_).

It’s called bamboo in English.

I’m using this routine now for returning to PE after a 2.5 year lay off, with unseccessful start-ups during that period of time. I desperately need to stick to this routine.

I am going to start this routine (or something very similar) today and report back every week to post gains. I came back after 3 month deconditioning break and my penis tissues are softer than ever. I whole-heartedly agree with this routine, how the traditional newbie routine is too much, etc. I have felt my dick being overtrained by 10 minutes of jelqing 1 on/2 off, even, which I used to consider an incredibely mild routine. Now I’m going to try it somewhere in the region of 5 minutes, or maybe I’ll start counting the actual number of jelqs. Either way, I’m going to start off very slow.

Update after 3 weeks PE (2 of which using this routine).

At the beginning my measurements were as follows:
6.4” NBPEL
4.75” EG Mid-shaft

I started with 1 week of the ‘Newbie Routine’ from this site, though it was slightly changed so I only did 7 minutes of jelqing. I felt I was over doing it, so promptly changed to follow this ‘NEW Newbie Routine’.

On this NEW routine I must say my penis feels better than it did, and my erections have increased already in number and quality. So after 1 week on the Newbie Routine and 2 weeks on this one, i found these results:
6.5” NBPE
4.75” EG Mid-Shaft

When I checked the measurement today before my routine I couldn’t believe it, the ruler said that I’v gained 1/16 of an inch. I didnt believe it, so I got flaccid again and started again. And again it showed 6.5” NBPEL. I’ve managed this tiny gain without stretches too due to my upcoming circumcision (developed phimosis over the past year to the point where I cannot bring my foreskin back 100% when erect).

I’ll keep on this routine of jelqing, slowly work my way to up to 150-175 jelqs and the more advanced uli maybe in a few months. I hope EG will come eventually, seeing as that is the one I’m interested in.

J123 what do you personally recommend as far as jelqing for length? What percent erection? I’ve been doing it at about 70%.

Iorek, congratulations for gains.

RonJeremy789, the goal in jelqing is to expand the blood chambers and the erection percent that helps to achieve that goal is best no matter whether you want length or girth. About 70 % sounds fine.
With low erection level there comes stretching aspect along, but the result may be that the jelqing (blood chamber expansion) and the stretching are both ineffective.

It can be somewhat controlled, that to where and how much you put pressure when jelqing, but the expansion direction is not usually so predictable. Generally if you get expansion to some direction you get expansion to other direction too, but how these will balance together is hard to predict.
The blood chambers will expand first to direction where it is done most easily. Usually it seems to be upwards.

For the newbies reading this thread… there is no magic routine. You have to discover what works best for you. I’ve been saying this for years.

Just because someone uses a particular routine and gets results, doesn’t mean that you will too.

I agree totally. I’ve seen loads of people claiming that the ‘Newbie Routine’ works and they have shown evidence for it… but for me it was a little too harsh to jump into straight away, so I chose this routine which is much more steady.

I think most PE routines will work. What seems to be the general concensus is that slow and steady wins the race. Be consistant, put in the effort, dont rush things and the gains will come.

J123, because of the holiday’s and everything my PEing got side tracked and I stopped for about 3 weeks! I can tell that my erections have not been as hard and I feel that my gains have gone down some! Does this mean that I did not cement my gain good enough!?

Yesterday was my first day back of PEing! However, I did a “Refresher Session” where I did about half the stretching and jelqing that I was up to before I stopped.

Now in the last post that you wrote to me you said that,

Did you mean that you compensate with an overhand grip?

Anyway, I feel that when my thumb is on top of my penis it causes more pressure which I feel works my penis better than if I did my thumb to the side. Which way do you feel is better for jelqing for girth gains?
