The first part of your question is: is edging right after a PE session a valid PE technique? Or, for that matter, is edging by itself a valid PE technique? Let me offer a little cop out: some people think it helps, others don’t think it does. I’ll say I don’t think it offered me any benefit, but I don’t know for sure.

Instead, let me answer your question somewhat obliquely. PE is a journey that requires patience and dedication. We recommend that you start with the newbie routine because (1) it doesn’t cost any money, (2) it conditions your penis for more strenuous techniques, and (3) when done properly, it gives you nice gains rather quickly, in line with what you might get with any other approach.

After you’ve tried the newbie routine for 3-6 months, you’ll be ready to try new things. One might be edging right after a PE session. Or you might try harder exercises, get an extender, a pump, try hanging with low weight, or add an all day stretching (ADS) device. For you, you’ll find that some things work better than others. If you are patient, dedicated, and follow good technique and practices, you’ll see gains.

That’s why I call it a journey. We’re here to provide encouragement and advice along the way.

Hey bro can you try to answer my question please? I have a small bump under my foreskin on my shaft it’s a little smaller than a bb pellet and it’s hard and move able or squiggly it causes no pain at all not even when I put pressure on it and it’s not noticeable I can feel it(no pain just feel the bump with my fingers ) more when I’m erect but kind of disappears when I’m flaccid sometimes it disappears even when I’m erect, I’m a little worried although I feel like I’m overreacting because everything is normal my erection are normal if anything stronger than ever, no pain or discomfort and well in general everything is fine I just want to know what is this? Should I worry?

Sounds like a sub dermal cyst. They can occur anywhere on the body (my father had one in his left earlobe, I have one on the back of my left forearm). They’re pretty harmless if this is what it is, but I recommend you ask your GP to take a look at it. Best to have to examined and identified by a licensed physician. I’m sure nobody would disagree. Doctors aren’t afraid or put off by penises, it’s part of the job.

New To All This

So I just signed up to this forum the other night. Upon signing I have started looking around and had one question up front. On the newbies routine it says to use warm wrap before and after. If that portion is ignored is it going to affect the progress or possibly just cause it to be sore as it is a muscle after all? That just seems like a bit over board having to use a rag and continually re-dunk it in hot water every thirty seconds for 5 minutes.

People have reported gain increases with heat, slower gains without, and though cold stretching and the like feels like it’s more intense than warmed up, the injury risk is a little higher. Plus the best state to stretch the ligaments and tissues is when they’re heated up, and heat also improves blood flow for recovery. Faster recovery means faster gains.
It’s only two times 5 minutes. You’ll be spending more time in the stretches and jelqs, at least until you get your grips right.
As an addendum, I didn’t like the hot wrap with water either, it had to be done in the bathroom where the floor is cold, it’s hot water but then it cools down and gets cold, and it’s a nuisance in general. So I bought an IR lamp and I wouldn’t go back. Mine cost E20 and I use it for my back and my knees too, a valuable investment to my life.

Get an Infrared heat lamp and warm ups will be your favorite part of the routine.

I use an infrared nowadays but I wouldn’t suggest you to buy one unless you’re already sure your gonna stick to the workouts.

It’s very common that people would start training and after a few weeks they give up.

So instead of buying stuff I’d tell you to get yourself a rice sock, just put 1 or 2lbs of uncooked rice in a regular sock and tie it. Heat in the microwave for 30~50secs depending on your microwave and wrap you’re penis. The rice keeps heat for 10 minutes and it lasts for like an year with the same rice.

Not to mention that I wouldn’t use an infrared lamp without a proper google for it. Might damage your eyes.

No, keep the rice dry or it’ll go mouldy after one use :)

Better to go down the drugstore and buy a microwaveable hot/cold gel pack large enough to wrap around your penis. The larger they are, the longer they hold heat. They only cost a few bucks and work well - and you can put them on over a damp cloth so you get the benefit of moist heat penetrating. They hold enough heat for a decent session of PE.
