Silicon Sleeve Pumping

I think edema gets into the penis tissue from outside the penis/from the body. Im pretty sure I made the observation that pumping with a cockring on prevented edema more then without it.

The glans itself can take much expansion it seems and is not prone to edema.
When you guys use the sleeve do you cover the corona or do you put it right up to the border of the glans?
Does it potentially cut into the glans?
Any open non-glans skin will accumulate edema I suppose.

Im getting finally some silicon to make a sleeve and I wonder how I should shape it optimally.

Hi dickerschwanz
>Do you think that a sleeve that is preventing expansion over the erect size will prevent gains?
I dont want to gain size 1-2 inches down my head and thought about applying a thicker sleeve to achieve that.
Just theorizing but somehow makes sense.

Intuitively makes sense.

The soft sleeve I use still allows me to pack the cylinder so presumably it is not preventing expansion but it is stopping donuts and edemas.

I normally do not pump with a cockring on but will give it a go. I supose it gives you a better erection with more blood so there is less room for lymphatic fluid so what you suggest makes sense

I suppose you could use a firmer sleeve to focus on glans expansion.

I started with the sleeve in the groove but noted some fluid build up underneath where the foreskin attaches near the frenulum. I now move it a bit forward over the corona. I do not find the soft sleeve cuts into the glans but a firmer one might. The foreski swelling goes down pretty quickly so I may go back to placing the sleeve behind the corona to get more glans expansion

>Im getting finally some silicon to make a sleeve and I wonder how I should shape it optimally.

Might be worth making it a bit narrower at the front to stop it sliding forward over the glans. Also a bit longer underneath to cover the frenulum area. Interested to see how you go with it.

Great answers! Will try a bit what to do about the glans and edema etc. when I get my air pump and silicone to make my own sleeves.
Will for sure test some stuff. A softer end or rounded edge might make sense for a sleeve. Or foam..

Note that by using a cockring inside the pump that the net pumping time is considerably decreased and shouldnt be above the time one would clamp. Thats cause blood flow out is slowed down.
But its great in a superset sense as when you exit the pump you are still hard can kegel in more blood/edge and get back into the pump.

I’m going to backtrack a bit on my earlier statement about head protectors.

Recently, I ordered a couple of silicone big toe protectors from eBay and have been trying out snugly rolling one on before rolling on the much thicker full-length sleeve from ABSilicone, prior to pumping.

What I will say is the combination of the two (a fully encased cock), seems to have accelerated my ability to persistently pack my 2.25” by leaps and bounds (I know this seems counter intuitive with the sleeves), and has allowed me to move on up to the large Froehle “hodenkondom”, which I never dreamed I’d be able to do.

As far as the head protector goes, once I start pumping it stays on tight to the skin surface and becomes translucent enough to get some idea what’s going on underneath. Another benefit I’m noticing is since it rolls down over my CC scar, it helps prevent a donut from forming, even after an hour of some pretty aggressive stretch-release pumping cycles. Of course, I’m still staying very aware of any sudden sensations underneath, and if the head protector shifts or comes loose from excessive expansion cycles, I immediately stop and either refit or quit.

So far, the results have been quite encouraging, and it’s entirely changed my thinking on the relationship between pumping and edema control.

Do you then roll the silicone a little bit over the head protector?

Hi great idea Fred I cut the end of my sleeve on an angle so it fits Nicky around the corona it seems to help with it being seated against the glans but as you said I think just a fraction narrower at the head would work very well

Great. Let us know how you go with the sleeve.

Yes, exactly.

I have now some time with silicone sleeves under my belt and my conclusion is that a glans protection isnt needed.
The moment you need a glans proteection you are already over the healthy amount of time or intensity anyway.
I dont mind the slight edema in the glans. It goes away really fast while there is none in the shaft.

A good solution for the glans wouldnt be bad still. But it has to be very flaxible and perfectly fitting or else the problems austfred mention will rather increase opposed to just watching it in the open.
Any attempts by me to restrain the glans led to more problems so I think its best to just keep it in the open. The glans tissue is anyway rather flexible and has less problems with it then the shaft.
The biggest problems come when the tube gets packed and the pressure seems to point more to the glans.

The silcione sleeves I did myself are very efficient in keeping down the edema right below the glans. I just roll it up right a bit over the ridge and everything stays fine below it.

Silicone sleeve pumping is great and has lots of potential in shaping the penis during pumping.
Different strengths and applications can change the pumping experience considerably.
For example slicone sleeves so thick layered at the top will increase base girth when the sleeve there is thinner.

Im right now thinking of a sleeve that will prevent lengthexpansion and thus promote only girth expansion.
I have to start a progress report about all this stuff finally.

Anyway great idea and Im thankfull!

Austfred, you might try again with the idea from this guy:
Prevent blisters wIth vac-hanging

using baby powder in the glans protector.

Does anyone know if ABSilicone is reputable? I decided to order one of these to try it out. The site says it usually ships in one day but other than a "shipping label created" message the following day, I still haven’t received it after a week, there has been no update in the tracking number from USPS and ABSilicone has not replied to my email.

I have bought off them a coupla times. Believe they are reputable but delivery (especially to Australia) can be a bit slow.

Fred

I read on a thread the husband passed away and the woman was now wondering what to do with the business. Some guys had to wait up to a month to receive it, I don’t think it used to be that way.

baby powder under the glans protector

Dickerschwanz,

That was a great tip. Initially I was reluctant to start using the glans protector again as it makes it hard to see a blister start forming and I had some success with water pumping just using the sleeve without a protector. Then at about 55 mins into a session I found a blister start forming. I stopped pumping immediately and ended up with a very small blister not much bigger than a red spot.

Anyway after a sjort rest break I decided to try out the glans protector / baby powder technique and gradually extended the session time from 30 mins to 60 mins. So far it has worked out great with no blisters. It has made it easier to fit the protector which I now do first. I then fit the sleeve over the top and finally the sealing ring for the cylinder.

I am even more sold on using the silicone sleeve with the Mr Fantastic water pump as the sleeve/ protector combo ensure no fluid build up yet I get good expansion post pump. I also jelq after I have finished pumping.

Packing the cylinder

Since I went back to using the glans protector with baby powder I have not had a single blister and have been pumping for 60 mins at a time. I have been really packing the cylinder up to the glans fairly early into the pump so decided to see how it would go without the silicone sleeve. Much the same result but with a bit more fluid retention - a chubbier feel but no donuts or edemas. After pumping I fit a metal cock ring I get erect and then jelq. I believe the jelqing is helping to reduce the fluid buildup that occurred during pumping.

My conclusion is that you do not need the sleeve if you are easily packing the cylinder which is common sense I suppose as the cylinder walls are doing the job.

Might be time to get a larger cylinder.
