Does this make any sense?

When we stretch something that is stretchable in a direction and way that’s it’s used to, it will stretch. Adding heat will relax tissue and muscles not to forget ligs when hanging BTC. Heat helps things by making everything soft and at ease at least that’s the theory.

What about cooling the whole penis, let me explain why. Wouldn’t it be wiser to make the penis do the exact opposite of relax while we hang heavy weights from it? I think it might be worth trying for a while because when you stretch something against it’s will that’s when it gets bent out of shape, your forcing the penis to retract when you add cold ice to it, it doesn’t like cold we all know that, it will shrink up and try to hide.

When you force something against it’s will you are exploring new territory, why let it relax and stretch it, all we are doing is letting “it” be in control, only to shrink back to normal size post hang. It might have stretched from the hanging and be pulling certain things out which would lead to gains if maintained correctly, but think about it, why not add that extra bit of force by making the penis fight against the hanging with added coldness to the equation.

Please, speak your mind people.

If you are hanging, you want to encourage creep. That’s going to happen better with heat. But holding it at full stretch after hanging while you cool it down with an ice pack is a good idea. Just make sure you wrap the ice pack in a tea towel so it doesn’t stick. :)


Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

Your theory is a bit like my idea of pumping (or clamping) while taking a cold shower. The cold shower would lower core body temperature and thus cause the body to respond by trying to turtle your unit. Assuming this turtle effect is cause by smooth muscle contracting in the CC Chambers, we would effectively have the smooth muscle trying to contract yet being unable to shrink the penis due to the internal pressures being caused by the pump, or clamp.

I took a wild guess in saying that this could cause more smooth muscle growth in the shaft than merely internal pressure alone. It may effectively be resistance training for the smooth muscle of our penis. Tell me I’m crazy firegoat…?(:

I say do the first half of a hanging routine with heat and the second half with ice. If you hang for 20 minutes continuosly do the first 10 minutes with heat and then switch to ice for the last 10 minutes.

Wouldn’t this be counter-productive though?? Cold causes ligaments to contract (I could be wrong though) and isn’t the goal to stretch them out and deform them? Unless you’re trying to say that adding the cold to make them contract so you can deform them better?

I don’t know for sure. It probably isn’t something I would pursue personally, but I would be interested to hear if you try it and what your feel the results are.

I seem to remember quite an extensive thread about precisely this topic a couple of years back, and the notion of ice was to set the unit in it’s ‘deformed’ [lengthened] state.

^ I don’t pump. I’m gaining very well at the minute by combining manual clamping, Ulis and Horse 440’s into single sets (using all exercises one after the other to maximize expansion). I may apply it one day to see if it works. If it does work then it would be perfect for increasing the internal pressure and blood holding capacity of the penis. Then all one will have to do is increase the tunica length/girth to accommodate the extra cells in the penis.

There are a few threads about the benefit of cooling down while in an extended / expanded state. If you want some more concrete data from people who have given the theory a decent trial you should dig up some of those threads.

As far as not warming up and just doing your routine while you are at normal or below normal temperature…go ahead and try if you really want to, but it sounds like an injury waiting to happen to me. I dont think you will find many vet’s that recommend against a good thorough warm up.

Even if cooling down with ice has some logic, as we know some materials which (are ?) similar to the tunica, act this way, I wonder if this would affect only flacid and not erect length. What’s your opinion ?

I’ll just tweak my routine and give results. Been hanging about 5 times a day, once in the morning and the rest throughout the evening around 15-20min each time. I’ve only been using heat, but I think I will hang in the mornings cold and in the evenings with heat.

I hung this morning cold and have had a pretty thick flaccid all day, but that could just be because of the 75% humidity outside too. Haha!
