Decondition before starting to hang?
Couldn’t find the answer to this by searching so thought I’d ask.
Been doing PE for almost 2 years now and have gained a solid 1 5/8” BPFSL but after slowing for awhile, have hit a plateau. I’ve never formally deconditioned although I usually go 1-3 days between jelqing and stretching (on alternate days). I also quick-stretch throughout the day. I’ve approached PE this way mostly after reading early on some anecdotes here which convinced me that a commonality with big gainers was doing some PE every day.
Now, I’m looking to start some hanging and wonder if I should decondition for awhile before I start.
If you guys think that’s a good idea, how long do you think would be most beneficial?
