Not a problem!

In the past I have peed with tight hanging wrap on and then hung after. Pee gets trapped in the urethra then squirts out as soon as I pull the hanger off after the set. I just removed the cock coil to check for this, no pee. Aparently it is tight enough to give a snug hold, but not tight enough to trap pee in the urethra.

Here is a brief description of how I twist it on. I begin at the very distal end, closest to my glans, and twist it coil by coil getting each one to a good tightness. Then after I do this for about the first four or five coils, I do a lot more careless twist of the remaining coils, usually twisting them as a group or as small groups. The last coil or two I rarely touch. Wearing the HTW keeps it from grabbing skin and twisting/bundling my whole shaft, the coils glide over the fabric as they tighten. Another good thing is if you get it too tight in one area or overall, you can easily just untwist it a bit without taking it off. If you mess up PE weights or golf weights you usually have to unwrap something or take them off completely.

I have had no trouble with it slipping and I believe it actually stays in place better than weighted rings as it grips at multiple points all up the shaft. I’m not sure how this would work for uncircumcised men, but I imagine it would be better because of the multiple points of contact.

Roots. Thanks Will have to track down some lead wire and try it out. Already have some heatshrink as I do a bit of electronics as a hobby.

One thing I might try if I cannot get the large diameter lead wire is to try multistrand with thinner wire and see how that goes.

comparison with golf weights

Been thinking about the pros and cons of these say compared to golf weights.

1. Ease of use - very easy to put on and off and easier to stop slipping than golf weights
2. Does a mild tunica stretch a bit like a very weak extender that golf weights cannot do
3 1/4” dia lead weighs 0.9 lb according to Xeno compared to about 1.75 lb for 5 golf weights and considerably more for PE weights
4 Cheap if you can find the lead.

The question is whether 2. above is more significant than the extra weight hang from GWs or PE Weights?

If the tunica stretch is the most important part of this then the question is do we have to worry about whether the coil must be made of lead or could some other malleable material be used?

Another question is whether you could use a combo - some golf weights above a shorter coil acting as a mild clamp?

Other wire would lose you some weight though. The density of lead is 11.3 g/cm^3 and the other metals common in wire are usually between 7-9 g/cm^3. So you might get like 20-30% less weight using another metal. Although the lead wire is hollow so the difference might be a bit less.

Here is a link to some lead wire. This stuff is actually solid (wish I would have known about this one), so it is 51" per pound instead of 60" like the stuff I got which is hollow. And it is only $7 for a one pound roll.

As of this morning, the Cabela’s link in the original post is to the solid core lead wire, not the hollow core.

My stuff is actually one pound because I found ten foot lengths of heat shrink tubing on Amazon and cut that in half. Xeno only had 4.5 foot tubing so he had to cut some lead off the end of the roll to fit it in the tubing. Also, if you want more weight you twist a second coil down over the first coil.

As to using the tunica stretching feature, the lead is actually pretty strong/holds its shape well under force. I just tested it for you, and it did not stretch at all after hanging two pounds from the bottom coil and holding it by the top coil, and it did not compress when I stretched it out and balanced a one pound weight on top of it (probably could have done two no problem, but I couldn’t balance them). This tells me it can probably create at least a maximum tension of one or two extra pounds in the tunica before the elastic response of the tunica begins to pull the stretched coil back together.

I’m sure you could use a combo, I have thought about this, but my coil is too long.

Regarding your list, point 2 I’d say is a wash since you can always add more coils or apply extra tunica stretch. But as I said earlier, point 1 was the most important factor to me so I haven’t tried extra weight.

Found a supplier in Australia who sells lead wire up to 10 mm.

Have contacted them to see if they will sell a small quantity retail.

The problem with google searches is that the word “lead” has two meanings and most hits come up with something not related to Pb.

Good find! 10 mm is even thicker and a .5 kg spool is only 1.1 pounds. I imagine at that thickness, it would only be about 4 feet long.

Fellas, any halfway decent sporting goods store with a fishing section will have both hollow and solid core lead wire in 1/4” and 3/16” diameters.

Side note for a ADS you could also take tungsten powder and mix with silicone. Ive mixed it before in fishing lures as an experiment. Could be pretty cool.. no idea

If something doesn’t include silicone you just don’t want anything to do with it. :)

Tungsten: it would be the shit because it is super dense, but is it as malleable as lead? I have never actually played with any tungsten.

Gold would be badass, perfect actually (very dense, malleable, will not poison you), but I think cost might be prohibitive.

Haha its so useful. Especially for these applications. I have only dealt with tungsten powder. I would imagine the wire would be just fine. Probably much harder to find. Ive got 2lbs of tungsten powder in my shop may make something up later. Gotta love fishing tools
