Cock Coil ADS

Good. I guess that length gets used quickly when coiling.

Do you think a double coil would be too bulky?

“Double coil” meaning two pencil leads next to each other in one large heat shrink tube?

If so, I don’t know, but suspect that it would be less “user friendly” than the regular CC in terms of flexibility and versatility…stretching the CC out would be trickier with a double coil for sure.

20 feet would do nicely for a stack of 4 big CCs.

Great job Chief! Thanks!

How about 20 foot rolls of heat shrink tubing?

Here’s a look at a small CC and a big CC for some sense of scale between the two sizes. This particular big CC is a bit rough due to a lousy heat shrink tube and my neglecting to make my first coiling around a perfectly cylindrical shape, nonetheless, when worn with a HTW, it’s comfortable.

Instead of heat shrink tubing, how about that plastic coating stuff you dunk tool handles in? Looks like 8 oz. cans cost about $5.

Edited to add the name that was eluding me: Plasti Dip

Edited again to add: Here it is at Harbor Freight.

I tried that and preferred the heat shrink tubing. In the CC application I found it much more durable than Plasti Dip.
