I’ve been a member here for over 3 years now. But PE has been an on and off thing. Not because I’m lazy, but because I always run into the same problem, time and time again.

I started with the newbie routine a long time ago, and maybe took it a little overboard at first, really fatiguing myself. So I took a break until everything was back to normal and brought jelqs down to around 150 thinking 200 was too much. Then maybe 3 weeks went by of stretching/jelqing @ 150, and I was fatigued again. I began to think it was the stretches that were making my flaccid smaller/less erections,so I dropped them. I kept going at it and always kept running into a wall, where my penis would actually be worse off. It was an ongoing cycle, so I just said f*ck it, I’m tired of this.

Fast forward to 3 or 4 weeks ago (or er.. rewind?). I had just gotten off another break and said you know what? I’m just going to use my ADS (FastSize). I did and about a week and a half in my morning wood was back stronger than ever and flaccid was hanging great. I decided to incorporate jelqs. I was doing around 150, and things were going great. Big flaccid, strong erections, the whole shebang.

Then I guess I went overboard with upping my jelqs to 160 and adding tension to the FastSize. I had lost my big flaccids and morning wood vanished. I took a couple days off from everything, and then I brought the tension back down on my ADS and still avoided jelqing for a bit. Then I jelqed for one day. Had to take ANOTHER break. Two days ago I woke up with no morning wood, but getting an erection was no problem so the ADS went back on and I did about 50 jelqs. Woke up with no morning wood the next day, and I can only get an erection today if I really work at.

Its pissing me off. I know I’ll be fine next week, but how am I supposed to gain when every 2 or 3 weeks I need to take a 1 or 2 week long break. Any advice is more than welcome. Or feel free to just tell me to shut up.

I should also mention that when I begin losing morning wood and what not, my penis gets a sort of toughness to it. I’m not sure if anyone else gets that, but I think its more of a negative thing then a good one. When things are going good my penis usually has a looser, floppier, stretchier feeling to it.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Welcome to the club.

You stated that you a) over did it when you first started; took a break; repeated a. Then, you b) over did it again (repeat a) and you wonder why you are having problems. You can’t gain if you keep repeating the same mistake and over working your unit.

Slow the fuck down dude, this isn’t a sprint its a marathon. Quit treating your dick like its a sprint. Your dick is telling you to back off, and you just won’t listen will you? Its been telling you to back off for 3 years, and have you listened to it?????? Want me to give you a one or two word answer?

Back off on the number of jelqs, make sure your erection level is at the proper range, read some of the posts I have in my favorites, especially the one on positive and negative PI’s. Listen to your body, its been screaming at you and injury seems to be the only way you want to listen. Not a good idea, injuries tend to inhibit growth instead of encouraging it.

Sorry I should’ve made this clearer, but I have been lessening my jelqs over time. I guess I’ll take a break again and go back at it with 50 jelqs?

What do you guys think of using the ADS alongside jelqs and no stretching?

Anyway thanks for the responses. I just felt that if the newbie routine said to do 200 jelqs, and I was doing 100 at around 60% erection level and having negative results, there was something horribly wrong with me.

Not necessarily. And : how much tight is your jelq-grip? Intensity is, generally speaking, more a problem than time/number of strokes. An extender would not tax so much your unit; but wearing an extender (especially a fast-size type) after jelquing is not easy: you can’t use the same tension that you could use without doing jelqs in the same day.

My jelq-grip has varied a lot. I’m thinking the most recent time might have been too tight of a grip. How much pressure should I be putting on the grip?

I haven’t had those in a long time. I got them my first time I started the Newbie Routine, but haven’t since.

That’s when you are doing too much : you have to take 2 days off; if the next session your penis doesn’t look plump for some hour after the work, take another day off - and so on. Very empirical approach, but I can’t explain really when you are using too much tension on your unit: you have to get it by yourself. If you are having the doubt that you are doing too much or you are using too much force, than probably it’s true.

Underworking is better than overworking, IMHO.

Alright thanks for the help. My problem would sometimes be, if things are going good add ten more jelqs. I guess what I should have thought, if things are going good, keep doing what I’m doing.

Yes; you can add ten jelqs if you have the feeling that your unit is not ‘worked’, or after 2-3 weeks that you stay on the same routine without any negative PI. The fact is, you have a very sensitive penis : so, adding ten jelqs for you is like adding 50 (just to say a number) for the average PEer; as said, it’s not necessarily a negative thing. You can have the same gains with less effort/time.
