Negative PI from edging

Anyone else get this? I’ve been edging for as long as I can remember; however it really seems to screw with my PE.

How do you figure it is screwing up your PE? (I’m curious because I’ve just started edging this week) Also keep in mind that PE seems to work differently for everybody, and that no one method is the miracle grow for every penis. If you are getting negative signs, then probably best to listen to what your body is telling you and chill out on it.


Starting Stats: 5.5 BPEL/5.0 EG (Jan 08)

Yeah I always get negative PI’s from it, also all of my gains have came from periods where I gave up edging for weeks. So in my head now if I edge I wont gain.

Edging will not grow your penis if that was true then I would have a 24” x 10” since I had done it obsessively since I was about 13.


PE Goal: 7.5" NBP x 5.8" MSG

Does that stress only come from LONG periods of edging? Keeping an erection too long can kill the tissue from oxygen starvation can’t it? But I don’t suppose anyone edges for 4 hours do they?

Again, it depends on the guy. Some can edge for hours and report it improves their EQ and gains, others find even 10 minutes cuts into their recovery. Bottom line will ALWAYS be, you must observe your own reaction and base your decision on that reaction.

Kills the tissue? Does it?? I wouldve thought a longer erection was due to longer exposure to blood and so that would be a good thing- more oxygen surely?

Well there is a reason why Viagra commercials say seek immediate medical attention if you have an erection lasting longer than 4 hours. I always thought to myself whatever I would be calling some prostitutes not a doctor, but I was looking at some info on Viagra and seen it actually causes damage to the tissue. I will try to find a link.

Thanks for all the replies! I tend to edge for long periods of time; as I stated previously I’ve always done it - will be a nasty habit to break.

Negative PI’s from it:

Reduced flaccid hang, lack of morning wood, “empty” feeling in my unit the next day.

I think the only way to break an edging habit, is to break the porn habit that almost always goes with it. I think its easier to kick heroin! :)

Ah ye i guess so, never really thought about it being dangerous…I’m definitly a less-is-more kinda guy though because I’ve used intense methods and now Im only doing about 25 jelqs a day and slowly increasing it and I haven’t had any negative PIs yet, no growth either but its still early days. If ever I edge after these gentle sessions it feels like I’ve over done it!

don’t mix up edging with masturbation!


Starting stats:- Dec11th2008 7.2"bpelx6" meg.Mar23rd09 8.375"bpel x 6.125"meg. Mar10 8.4" bpelx6.125" meg.

Goal: 8"nbpel x 7" A one eyed monster by any standard :)

For me, if I edge for 30 mins I am fine.

If I edge for 30 mins and ejaculate at the end of it, I’m getting close to the borderline or at the edge of the cliff.

If I edge for 60 mins and ejaculate at the end of it, I just gave my unit a hammering and will have decreased EQ next day.

Doing this repeatedly, would flush EQ down the toilet. Had some small problems about a month about, but it’s been okay the last 3 weeks. Learn your limits, then stay away from them. Everyone’s limit is different.

This is combined with PE, without PE it might be different, who knows.
