I had a 150 watt bulb of another brand, my 100W phillips bulb is FAR more effective. I think you should steer away from bulbs designed for lizard incubation, they don’t seem as good and are more fragile.

I agree with you.
Lamps we have to use are designed to produce a deep penetration heat. They use IR A. Those for breeding have a more regular spectrum, but essentially IR B and IR C. They heat the surfaces.

Infrared rays are invisible. The spectrum of an IR lamp is quite extensive, a portion of visible light is emitted. That is what you see. From my experience, it seems that therapeutic lamps (IR A) emit a red darker than heating lamps.

I think we may have the same one, sparky. Philips heat lamp 120V 250w? PE with an infrared bulb is a completely different experience.. My dick is so much more pliable during workout

Yeah, I think mine is the Phillips 250 watt, 120 volt, red IR bulb. Yeah, you get real deep penetration of the heat and it does make a difference.
If you are trying to have kids anytime soon, cover your testicles when you use the heat lamp, as deep heat damages sperm, just as a hot tub can. If you do heat your nuts (and you want to conceive), you just lay off for a few weeks and sperm will be fine, it doesn’t damage your ABILITY to make sperm, sperm just can’t take much heat before they are damaged. That’s why the body makes your testicles hang lower and away from the body, to lower the temperature. Most guys here aren’t in the process of trying to conceive, so not a problem.
I made a bank of a few of these on a stand for my wife. In the winter our bedroom gets really cold, and she loves to get into bed with these lamps on her before she goes to sleep. She LOVES EM! Its one of her favorite things, to get under the heat lamps in bed after a hard day at work, she finds it very relaxing. I hooked it up to a timer so she can go to sleep with them on and they will shut off automatically.
So far we have gotten hundreds of hours out of them with no sign of them quitting any time soon.
