Benefits of stretching
I’m not sure what the purpose of stretching is. Is stretching a PE exercise itself or is it more a warmup exercise?
It seems there are many people who stretch for >20 minutes here. I am following DLD’s newbie routine and it has only the following: 3 sets of stretches to the right, straight down, left, and up held for 30 seconds each. Definitely not a heavy stretching routine so I’m curious as to how important stretching really is.
