A bit of advice needed

First post here.

I’m going to lay out a bit of information right here, nothing too personal but just enough to get any advice givers a beat on what I’m working with.

I’m 20, circumcised for medical reasons (too tight and too much foreskin) and got a length of 6,4 inches, my goal is to reach 8 inches.

I’ve seriously underestimated proper warm up but now I’m doing it every time both before and after a session of PE.

Now comes the question time, I’ve looked in to PE a lot both here and other sites, some with pictures and a few even with video, but here the thing whenever I PE in form of manually “milking” it as the motion often gets described as its not actually my fingers moving over the skin but the skin moving with my fingers.
I am unsure of what this does for me and why it is so, I would like to know whether I’m doing something wrong or this is just a given with the attributes of my unit (medical reasons in second line considered), of course I need to mention I do feel the increased pressure in the chambers while performing the motion and have a visual tell through seeing the tip getting slightly darker in color towards the end of the motion.
The reason I’m asking is because I see in a lot of the guides/instructions that I’m supposed to do them continuously without without letting go, I can’t do that since I need to let go in order for the skin to slide back to normal position or alternatively (and also preferably) move the skin back together with my fingers to start the next motion.

Can anybody shed some light on this?

It all depends on how tight and slick the skin is. In general, the harder you are, the less likely the skin is going to slide in that it is pulled tight. Add lubrication to that and your fingers are going to mostly slide over the skin.

On the other hand, when you “dry jelque” it will be mostly the fingers stay on the same spot, and the SKIN will move over the shaft.

I think whatever is most comfortable for you, based on the level of skin tightness and erection level. Really, it doesn’t matter as long as you aren’t causing pain, and you are generating pressure in the right areas.

Still perfecting the technique (not twisting it and providing proper pressure all the way through) and now armed with this knowledge I feel more comfortable knowing I’m not harming myself or doing something that is less-than-effective.

When I dry jelq do I use 1 or 2 hands? I find 2 hands very difficult to use because when I push forward a lot of skin is pushed forward as well (it’s pretty much only the skin) and that will make my “turkey neck” more of a problem as it will be further out on the shaft.. And I assume I can’t grip over the “turkey neck”?

I dont jelq alot but usually will do a few sets when sitting on toilet at work. I do more of a very slow jelq where ill pause mid-jelq and kegel and hold for 30 seconds. Do this 3-4 times in one stroke. Feels good and good PIs after, plus walk around with the crotch watchers wondering what he packing lol

I’m not using any form of lube, did to begin with but did not seem to do much.

Sounds correct. If you aren’t using lube then that is a dry jelq. Doing dry jelqs will cause the skin to be pulled as well, so that is normal. Regular, lubed jelqs should slide more. What kind of lube did you use originally?

I tried with baby oil, a water based lube and a herbal lotion made from all natural ingredient’s.

Baby oil was marvelous but caused a full on erection every time, water based lube just didn’t seem to do much (can’t remember brand name) and the herbal lotion was good and also helped to battle skin irritation

You seem to be focused on the effect on your penis - swelling and color - which is the key issue. It sounds like your technique is fine. Now focus on any refinement and finding the right number of reps / rest days for your penis.

I personally preferred wet jelqs after a rice sock warm up and basic stretching. Again, you need to find a good workout level for you and stick with it.

Currently doing 10-15 minutes daily and resting on weekend.
I’ve read sparkyx’s posts linked in the bottom of all his posts and stay aware of any negative, neutral and positive tells as is mentioned.

I I don’t know if I’m working it too hard but I’m not experiencing any drop in performance, I get a bit fewer erections than usual since I started but the ones I get which would be morning and evening wood along with 2-3 during the day are rock hard and I’ve noticed through handling it at those times that it also gives off more heat than before, which to me suggest increased blood flow.

Any remarks to be made on this?

I have noticed that water-based lubes are pretty worthless unless you get the high end stuff from a sex shop. The stuff I use is called H2O GO, I think. It works great, but the cheap kinds you get from a pharmacy like Walgreens get tacky really fast I have found, my stuff remains smooth and slick. Baby oil works great too.

I don’t know what to tell you about the full blown erections though. I never have that problem. Maybe think about ugly chicks? ;)

Also, dry jelqing works fine if you are getting good expansion.

I got troubles with the ugly chicks part, got a girlfriend just about a month ago and she’s hot, no matter which girl I think about the image changes to her.

I’ve only just begun with the regular jelqing, before I gained just under an inch through dry jelqing 3 times a week for 20 minutes each time over the course of 1 month.

I have yet to see the gains of my current routine but I will do a measurement sometime next week to see whats going on.

Edit: I used to be a fat guy, I’m still on the chubby side but only somewhere between 5-10 kiloes away from being at ideal weight as opposed to 35 before, hot girlfriend is a real achievement for me, girls are easy to get here, good + hot girlfriends is a real challenge even for the good guys.

I think good plus hot is a real challenge wherever you are! Congratulations. And you gained an inch in a month? If that is true (sounds pretty crazy to me, but crazy things do happen), you are definitely doing something right!

If you gained so quickly why did you change things up?
