Hey guys, I tried to post this in Injuries and Treatments, but it didn’t let me. The problem is that I started my first ever jelq routine 4 days ago. I followed the beginners guide and I did everything correctly. Warmed up, did stretches, but my erection level sort of fell to 50% because I was making sure I was doing it safely. I did not have a warm down however and rested. Since then, I have noticed that I can’t get my erection level as stiff as a board like before I started. Maybe like 80% max. Is this a permanent injury or should I just wait a few more days?

If there were no pain and no color change involved, I would just put it to your penis has got a light shock. It is not used to this, but it will be. I think you are fine, go light for a period and your erections will return.

First time you do heavy squats at the gym, or go for the first run after a long lay-off, your legs will ache for a couple of days, even if you didn’t do much. Same with PE. You’ll be fine in a few days.

Even those who are more experienced deal with this when they have overdone their workout. I had to stop a session yesterday because I could feel I was already fatigued and needed rest. Listen to your body as you get acquainted to the excercises and your routine.

Update: I still haven’t jelqed yet but I have masturbated twice. The erection level is good, even higher than it had been before. Still don’t have same EQ tho. Still only around 80%. Should I wait longer to heal or get back into light to try to bring my former level of hardness back? I’m uncircumcised if that matters.
