I didn’t quite know where to put this. I’ve searched for a few days for similar posts or threads but have yet to find one. I’ll get to the point.

I’ve been jelqing since December. I made a progress thread but I can not find it. Anyway, I have injured myself 3 times within that timeframe. I do the proper warm up and pre stretch. I started with 100 jelqs only 3 days a week, then slowly moved to 200. My penis just can’t handle anything over 150 jelqs. I’ve loosened my grip, given it extra time to help. Yet I still injured myself. Of the 4 months I’ve been jelqing, at least 2 and a half months have been forced layoff for healing.

So I’ve come to the conclusion that I have to do an extremely light and gentle routine. I was thinking 100, two rest days then jelqing again and resting for two more days. My question is has anyone here made any gains from a light routine?

You grow in response to stress. Injury is an indicator you’ve gone beyond a level of stress you can handle.

100, 200, or 800 jelqs; these are arbitrary numbers that represent a workload needed to get to a stress level adequate for growth.

There is no set number of jelqs appropriate for all people or anyway to predict with any certainty how each person will respond to a given exercise.

For you 150 jelqs sounds appropriate.
