Update on Discolouration

So, a couple of weeks ago I got a little pissed off with the discolouration, decide to give the pumping a break and just do manuals.

This only lasted a week, and then I was straight back into my pumping routine 4 times a week.. 5 times last week, (the way I change my mind sometimes, I could swear I was a lesbian in a males body ;) ).

The combination of both manuals and pumping plus heat, just gives me such a better overall workout. My penis feels like it’s tired, like your body does after a good workout, but at the same time good. My flaccid penis feels heavy, (looks heavy) for the rest of the day. What can I say, PEing is addicting.

I’ve started to accept that discolouration is unfortunately part of the game, and if I want to continue pumping, I’m just going to have to suck it up. Luckily, 90% of the discolouration seems temporary, and mostly disappears after a couple of days rest… but straight after a workout, fuck it’s bad. For some reason, it only seems to effect the foreskin. The glans and the lower half off the shaft are not effected. I was getting some tingling feeling in the glans during and after pumping, but this has now stopped.

I’ve added some Jelq Squeezes (at least that’s what I think I’m doing) to the end of my routine, to try and get some more expansion mid shaft. I basically squeeze the base of my penis, over hand, palm facing my body. Then, with the other hand, palm facing away, I do 3 second squeezes 5 times, moving a way from the base, finishing just under the glans. I change hands and repeat up to 5 sets per hand.

I’m planning on doing a bit of measuring just before Easter, if I have time.

Not much to report, as I’m just ticking along, following my Routine. I measured just before Easter, and had some small gains which is encouraging. I then had a week off over Easter.
Thought I’d just update my Stats / Routine / Vitamins.

I also made a bit of a boo boo, in reporting the dosage of some vitamins. Sorry chaps. The box is not in my native language, and the dosage they report is for 2 capsules, and I only take 1 a day.

Routine is completed with a fan heater directed towards my penis. I use olive oil as lube. Discolouration is still not pretty. :eek:

Break from Pumping.

So…. I’ve been taking a break from the pumping. Last month I managed to break the skin on my shaft (foreskin), causing a small scab of about 1 cm in diameter.

Even though the time, vaccum I use is not extreme, and I don’t feel any discomfort, my foreskin just doesn’t seem to be able to deal with it. Discolouration was the first sign, then some small red spots, and finally the broken skin.

So enough is enough, and a break is necessary to allow the skin to repair…. a break from pumping that is ;) . Also being summer, more chance the wife will see the evidence, and me trying to explain why beating my penis up is a good thing.

I have gone back to manual exercises for the time being until I figure out how to continue pumping, without the negative affects. I’ve been playing around with some more advanced exercises, like horse 440, Jelq squeezes, and Uli#3.

The horse 440s weren’t working for me, as the small circle over the glans just doesn’t seem effective because of my mushroom head. As well, it tugs on my foreskin, which is uncomfortable for me… so I’ve given that up.

The Jelq squeezes however have been more successful, with the Uli#3 being incorporated as well. I’ve kept the Stretches & Jelqing in the Routine as they are the bread and butter of any manual Routine.

Routine: Monday / Tuesday / Thursday / Friday.

10 min warm up Microwave heating Pad.

Stretches - All Directions X 2 / 30 sec hold each (7 mins total)

250 / 3 sec Jelqs

5 Jelq Squeezes X 10. 1.5 min each. ~95% erection (One hand clamps base, first 30 sec edging, last minute 5 squeezes moving towards the glans)

Uli#3 X 10, with a 20 sec squeeze at the end of each stroke.

Decon Break

I’ve got a bit for time right now, so I thought I’d write a bit of an update.

As I wrote in the last post, I had a break from pumping and only did manuals. I did this for a couple of weeks to let the skin repair.

However, I couldn’t resist the pump any longer, and decided to combine it with a manual routine. So, for the first 4 weeks of July, I did 2 days manuals only, and 2 days a combination of manuals and pumping per week…. so 4 days per week in total.

Manual Routine: Mon/Thur.

10 min warm up Microwave heating Pad.
Stretches - All Directions X 2 / 30 sec hold each (7 mins total)
250 / 3 sec Jelqs
5 Jelq Squeezes X 10. 1.5 min each. ~95% erection (One hand clamps base, first 30 sec edging, last minute 5 squeezes moving towards the glans).
Edging 5 mins. approx

Manual & Pumping Routine: Tue/Fri.

10 min warm up Microwave heating Pad.

The skin on my penis looked a lot healthier, even though the discolouration is still there.

At the end of July, I made the decision to take a decon break. My gains had stalled for a couple of months now, and I felt I was beating a dead dog. My EQ and PI’s were good, but I was just treading water.

I had also read a lot about the benefits of a decon break lately, and it seems to be the way to get things moving again.

As well, I’m on holiday over August, and this will give me more time to drink, and perv at hot chicks at the pool/beach…. so fuck it… there´s more to life than tugging on your penis. ;)

When I get back in September, i plan on starting slowly again with manuals, and building my way up again. I’ve started looking at cable clamps, as clamping is what I´m planning on trying next… maybe some combination with manuals/pumping.

Update after Decon

Thought I’d catch up on my progress thread. I’ve been a bit busy the past couple of months with life, etc… and only been really lurking around.

My wife and I tried the Maca for a month, but I didn’t really see any big increase in my or hers sex drive… but I can’t complain ;) . I’ve still got a couple of bottles left, so I’ll probably continue taking a small dose until it runs out.

Wife noticed for the first time the discolouration, (I’m a stealthier). Looked at it and said, “Your dick is 2 different colours”. Her expression was like, “How haven’t I noticed this before”. Luckily after a month of decon, it wasn’t quite as bad as before.

Ended up having a 6 week decon period, and started back up with the Newbie Routine at the start of September. I didn’t lose too much, and what I did lose is slowly coming back. Over the past 6 weeks, I’ve worked my way up to the following Routine:

10 mins warm up with a Microwave heating Pad.
8 mins stretching in all directions.
160 X 3 Second Wet Jelqs.
3 mins hand clamp around base.
6 mins Edging (approx).
Routine, 5 days per week, with 50 kegals a day.

Today was the first day back pumping. I started with this Routine:

10 mins warm up with a Microwave heating Pad.
8 mins stretching in all directions.
80 X 3 Second Wet Jelqs.
Pumping 2 mins @ 3Hg / 8 mins @ 4 Hg.
80 X 3 Second Wet Jelqs.

I reduced the amount of Vtiamins over the decon period, and have just started back on the L-Arginine & Zinc the past week.

Just ordered a pack of cable clamps today, (cable cuffs they’re called). I bought a pack of 2” (5 of) & 3” (2 of). I’m not sure if I’ve got the right size, but I’m guessing I’m being pretty optimistic with the 3” ones. :D

I’m planning on giving clamping a go in the near future. Probably mix it up a bit with pumping.

I’m not really worried about length, I’m sure my goal will come with time. Girth is where I see the hard work… I’ve still got 0.5” to go, and I’m hoping clamping will be my ticket to my girth goal. I guess we’ll see how it goes…

First Clamping Attempt

So, I gave the clamp ago for the first time on Saturday. I couldn’t help myself… it was sitting by my desk at home, looking at me with those little plastic eyes.

I’ve been playing around with hand clamping for the past 6 months, so it wasn’t a big shock or anything when I clamped it on. As far as pressure/expansion, there wasn’t really any difference between clamping with my hand, or with the clamp to be honest. I guess the real difference being is that you don’t get a sore hand clamping. I was only clamping with my hand for 3 minutes, but with a clamp I clamped for 5 mins, without having to worry about my grip fatiguing.

I still need to work on my wrap. I’m using adhesive 5mm thermal tape for insulating pipes/taps, which is cut to the shape of the clamp and applied. I also tried some elastic band, 20mm wide, which I wrapped around as near to the base as possible. My skin though is getting pinched at the bottom of the clamp as well as underneath. It’s not exactly from the clamp itself, but from when the wrapping material bunches up. I’m sure I’ll get it right in the end with a little bit of practice / experimentation.

It was a little difficult getting the wrap in the right place as well, while trying to maintain an erection. Again, with a little practice / experimentation I’m sure I’ll get there.

So my first attempted was as follows:

10 mins warm up with a Microwave heating Pad.
8 mins stretching in all directions.
60 X 3 Second Wet Jelqs.
5 mins clamping
5 mins light Wet Jelqs - to regain circulation.
5 mins clamping
5 mins light Wet Jelqs - to regain circulation.

Probably a little to much to start with, but P.I.s were good, so can’t complain. However, in the future I plan on doing a clamping routine, then a pumping routine on alternative days, 4 days a week.

I will work up to a maximum of 10 mins clamped at a time. I guess will see how it goes. :)

Clamping Routine

Today I did my new clamping routine. I did away with the elastic band today, which I was wrapping around the base, and only used the adhesive 5mm thermal tape attached to the clamp. I was able to avoid the skin being pinched, but still had to be careful as there is still a risk.

Clamping Routine:

10 mins warm up with a Microwave heating Pad.
8 mins stretching in all directions.
60 X 3 Second Wet Jelqs.
5 mins clamping
5 mins light Wet Jelqs - to regain circulation.
5 mins clamping
5 mins light Wet Jelqs - to regain circulation.
5 mins clamping
60 X 3 Second Wet Jelqs.
3 mins Edging (approx).

Just to clarify, I plan on doing the clamping routine, Mondays and Fridays.
Pumping Routine, Tuesday and Thursdays.

Wednesdays and the Weekend rest days. I might mix it up some days, or do an extra day in the weekend, if I have more time. I’ll see how it goes.

My first impressions of clamping is nothing to write home about. I was expecting to be blown away by the expansion / pressure. I was expecting more of a feeling of my penis being on the edge of exploding. However, I found it to be not as intense as this. I’m also finding it difficult to maintain a full erection, even while watching porn. I guess this will become easier once I feel more comfortable with the clamp.

I’m still getting close to 1/4” of expansion, which is good. However, the expansion goes down relatively quickly, once the clamp is released. My flaccid remains much larger for longer after pumping, even though some of that is fluid.

I’m going to be careful anyway, and increase slowly the time over several weeks / months. Clamping is an advance exercise, and just because I’m not feeling it, doesn’t mean I’m not pushing the boundaries of safety. :)

New Year Update

Thought I’d update my Progress Report.

My stats are basically back to where I was before the decon break. I’m not sure how beneficial the decon break was for me as far as growth, but it was good having a break and concentrating on other things in life for a change. I also had a week off over the Xmas period.

Clamping seems to be going well, I’m getting some good expansion while clamped… near to 1/4”. I don’t get any fluid build up, unlike pumping. I’m still doing sets of 5 mins, which may be the reason for not having fluid build up. I get enough fatigue from 5 min sets, so I haven’t needed to increase the time yet.

Usually I do one day clamping, the next pumping, ( or vice versa) then a rest day.

I’ve also been mixing it up a bit, as time permits, or just to make it interesting.

For example:

10 mins warm up with a Microwave heating Pad.
8 mins stretching in all directions.
80 X 3 Second - Wet Jelqs.
Pumping: 2 mins @ 3Hg / 17 mins @ 4 Hg / 1 min @ 5Hg.
80 X 3 Second Wet Jelqs.
Pumping: 2 mins @ 3Hg / 17 mins @ 4 Hg / 1 min @ 5Hg.
80 X 3 Second - Wet Jelqs.
5 mins clamping.
60 X 3 Second Wet Jelqs.

I’m still on my supplement cocktail. I’ve taken out most of the L-Arginine, as it was giving me headaches.

Mixing it up.

Today I tried a slightly different Routine from my last one.

The idea is instead of doing 2 sets of 20 mins pumping, to increase the time to 30 mins, but only one set. I’ve read that some of the long term pumpers find the 30 min mark the most beneficial.

At the same time, I increased the clamping time from 5 mins to 8 mins. I’m playing around with the less is more theory, but in saying that, it is still a pretty long workout.

I had less fluid build up in the pump, but fractionally less length expansion in the pump, (probably only around 1 mm). The increase clamping time gave me an extra 1mm in girth while clamped.

I’m not sure if I’m going to set my self a permanent Routine at this point, as I’m enjoying playing around with different times, and experimenting a bit, seeing what gives me the best expansion, less fluid build up… and of course, best gains.

I know changing around Routines is not the best way to identify what is working for you, but I’ve always liked the principle of keeping the body guessing, or in this case, the penis.

Todays Routine:

10 mins warm up with a Microwave heating Pad.
8 mins stretching in all directions.
80 X 3 Second - Wet Jelqs.
Pumping: 2 mins @ 3Hg / 24 mins @ 4 Hg / 2 mins @ 5Hg… Total Time 28 mins.
80 X 3 Second Wet Jelqs.
8 mins clamping (Edging while clamped).
40 X 3 Second Wet Jelq.

Done with constant heat from a fan heater. 50 Kegels a day, and bed fowfers when I remember.

Quick Update

I increased the time in the Routine of the last post to 30 mins pumping and 10 mins clamping.

The 30 mins in the pump was a little too much I think. It was starting to get a little too uncomfortable, and there was quite a bit of fluid build up in the foreskin. Discolouration was also a little worse.

The 10 mins clamping was OK. I got good expansion, slightly over 1/4”, but at 10 mins I was feeling a little nervous about the amount of time. I feel more comfortable around 7 to 8 mins per set.

I’ve just started a new Routine, which basically divides the pumping / clamping time into 2 sets instead of the longer 1 set for both.

While report back with more details soon. :)

Skygod, you’ve very similar stats which caught my attention and so I’ve read through your thread. Really great to see the progression over time, well done on your gains!

Interested in your thoughts regarding pumping - do you feel it is overall a benefit to gaining girth more than length? I’ve not moved away from manual stretching yet but have been experimenting with clamping to see if I can boost my girth.

Hi Blindpew,

This is an interesting question, that has been discussed numerous times, without a clear answer. From my reading, and experience, I think it is more a complimentary supplement to some other form of exercise… for example manuals. A few have had success with pumping alone, but I think the majority succeed with a combination of techniques, including pumping. For me and others, Jelqing seems to be a very important part of a Pumping Routine.

As far as gaining girth or length, I think it helps with both. I get nearly 1/2” length increase while in the pump. This reduces to about 1/4” when the vacuum is released. So, it must help with length gains over time.

People talk about pumping being more for girth, but this is harder to measure because of fluid build up during and after pumping, and how much true expansion you really get.

I guess everyone is different, so it’s always difficult to say whether or not it will work for you. For me it has helped, but I do think that clamping is where the girth gains are, with pumping as a supplement. I’m getting some great girth expansion from clamping. I just have to find the right combination.

I’m going to write more about this over the next couple of weeks.
