A Newbies Progress & Story
Newbie here. Thought I’d do a bit of an intro, and hopefully contribute to what appears to be a great site, with a lot of well-wishing people. One of the reasons I´m writing is to try and keep myself motivated, as well as give back to a site which is rich in information and advice. If I can also help people through my own journey, all the better. There appears to be a lot of support here, which is very motivational in itself.
I only found out about PEing at the start of November, before that I only thought PE was a commercial thing, designed to make money out of peoples insecurities, irritate peoples junk mail box, with limited or disastrous results. At the beginning of November I downloaded a book just for interest about PE, read the intro, skipped about 300 pages, and read the acknowledgements at the end, where I found a link to Thunders, as well as PE Gym.
PE Gym looked a bit commercial, whereas Thunders looked pretty straight up. Did a bit of reading, and came to the conclusion, there was just too many people talking favourably about PE for it to be nonsense. So, 4 days after discovering PE, I measured and started the Linear Routine.
I´m planning on using my progress report thread as a way of writing my thoughts and experiences down. At the same time, I plan to update my routine, and stats once a month for anyone interested. (At the beginning anyway). Update on the way.
