A Newbies Progress & Story

Hi Everyone,

Newbie here. Thought I’d do a bit of an intro, and hopefully contribute to what appears to be a great site, with a lot of well-wishing people. One of the reasons I´m writing is to try and keep myself motivated, as well as give back to a site which is rich in information and advice. If I can also help people through my own journey, all the better. There appears to be a lot of support here, which is very motivational in itself.

I only found out about PEing at the start of November, before that I only thought PE was a commercial thing, designed to make money out of peoples insecurities, irritate peoples junk mail box, with limited or disastrous results. At the beginning of November I downloaded a book just for interest about PE, read the intro, skipped about 300 pages, and read the acknowledgements at the end, where I found a link to Thunders, as well as PE Gym.

PE Gym looked a bit commercial, whereas Thunders looked pretty straight up. Did a bit of reading, and came to the conclusion, there was just too many people talking favourably about PE for it to be nonsense. So, 4 days after discovering PE, I measured and started the Linear Routine.

I´m planning on using my progress report thread as a way of writing my thoughts and experiences down. At the same time, I plan to update my routine, and stats once a month for anyone interested. (At the beginning anyway). Update on the way.

Well, do the linear newbie routine for a month or 2 then do the Newbie Penis Enlargement Routine .

Make sure you warm up and down before and after doing PE.


Started:BPEL=5.0" x MEG=4.6 .(actually I was between 4.9 and 5 so I went with 5)

Now:BPEL= 6.3 x MEG=4.8 .. :) Final goal = 7.0 BPEL x 5.2 MEG.

I think, from a newbies perspective, that the linear Routine is more than enough, and where every newbie should begin. The first day when I started the linear I did my first 20 jelqs, and thought my dick was going to fall off. The Newbie Routine is just too much I feel for a real newbie, but unfortunately it’s the first routine that many find, and start. So thanks for the advice on starting the Linear Routine.

I will post my first months progress shortly.

Now, as promised I’m posting my progress and routine for my first month of PE ever. I keep a detailed spread sheet at home, which I will use as a reference for posting on this site.

1st day (5th Nov) Linear Routine

5 min warm up in Shower
Stretches: 1 Rep - Down / Left / Right / Up / 30 sec hold each / light stretch
Wet Jelq: 1 Set of 20 / 2 sec each (couldn´t quite get the 3 sec, too nervous)
5 min warm down in Shower
1 set of 50 Kegels during the day.

Training days: Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday (2 on / 1 off / 2 on / 2 off).

Over the month I have progressed to the following Routine, which is where I am now, adding and experimenting as I felt more confident.

4th Dec Routine at present

5 min warm up in Shower
Stretches: 2 Rep - Down / Left / Right / out / up / 30 sec hold each / finished with 1 min stretch down.
Wet Jelq: 2 Set of 50 / 3 sec each
Jelq squeezes: 10 Sets of 4 Jelq squeezes while holding the base.
Stretches: 1 Rep - Down / Left / Right / out / up / 30 sec hold each / finished with 1 min stretch down.
5 min warm down in Shower.
2 sets of 50 Kegels during the day.

My total workout time is 33 mins. The pause between Wet Jelq sets is for 20 seconds, just to help maintain erection at 30 to 50 %. I use Baby Oil with Aloe Vera as lubricant.

My starting Stats (4th Nov) are as follows:
BPEL 7” / 17.8cm
NBPEL 6.5” / 16.5 cm
BS-EG 5.28” / 13.4 cm
MS-EG 5.28” / 13.4 cm
UpperSEG 5.28” / 13.4 cm

So…. My thoughts after my first month of PE… Let’s start with the Stats. The 0.25¨ increase in BPEL… I can´t quite get my head around it to be honest. I’m questioning my measuring technique… I guess this is why people say to take photos when you start. If I get another 0.25¨ in the future, I will be more surer about the increase, as there is no way I can find that much more, however I measure. If it is true, I think it´s more a combination of improve EQ when measuring, and pulling a few wrinkles out of the old boy during the first month.

Now SEG increase. This I feel more confident about. I remember exactly seeing the 13.4 cm on the tape measure a month ago. So a pleasant surprise. What´s interesting is that under the glands, there’s been no notable increase, but Glands have really pumped up. I can only contribute the gains in the glands, to when I’m Jelq, I get a definite pressure/pump there, which I can also feel the next day.

Now my BP-FL is a real approx. There’s just too much variation there for me to give a fair evaluation or measurement. If anything interesting happens in that department, I’ll let you know.

So, do I think I’ve increased my size… no. I contribute the gains to EQ. Put like I said, another 0.25¨ in the future, and I won´t be so fast to say just EQ… will see.

Now, in relation to the Routine. When I first started it was all a little scary, but I’m feeling more comfortable with manual PE, and my technique now. I try and concentrate on form, less is more. My 4 day per week / 32 min Routine works good for me, and my timetable. I introduced Jelq Squeezes into my Routine after trying a few other techniques lightly. I really like the pump it gives my penis, and I can control the pressure, so I feel comfortable doing it. I like how my penis feels after my routine, pumped, same feeling after you have given your body a good workout. I plan on maintaining the Routine over Xmas, then reevaluating things after that.

So that’s all for now, next time I’ll write a bit about myself, life maybe, and my PE goals.

So, to continue, why am I here…

In my 20’s, I was happy with my dick. I never thought about it being too big or too small.. And the women I were with, seemed to be happy. But the more I watched porn over the years, the more the insecurities developed. Also, stories and comments made by people have had a lasting impression, even though at the time it was really nothing, it still added up. And then there are the dreaded thoughts about your partners, past partners that haunts you… how do you really measure up!!

Now that I have found Thunders, read the truth, I now feel better, and whether I gain or not, is not really important. Thunders and PE has been a really positive discovery for me.

PE has filled a space in my life that porn seemed to have hold of. Any alone free time was committed to porn. I’ve tried finding different things to replace it, but nothing could replace the allure of porn. For some reason, PE has been the answer. I’m completely focused on PE right now, when I have time, and have completely lost interest in Porn… interesting… I only hope it lasts.

I’m now in my 40’s, and married. I’m reasonable fit & healthy. I’ve always had low body fat, so not too much of a fat pad… So I guess I’m at a good starting point. At the start, about a month ago, I thought I wanted to increase my size. Now, after reading numerous threads on Thunders, I’ve come to realize that I probably don’t need it. I don’t think my wife needs it, and I’ve read that for some people, big can be a problem, depending on the person your with.

So, my main aim to begin with is to increase my EQ. This I feel has somewhat declined over the years, even though I’m fit, and is definitely my first target. Some size increase would be nice… I just can’t help wanting it, but I know deep down that any real size increase will probably not change anything, and may even be unhelpful.

My goal and dream are not too serious… at this stage. I think my goal would be ok, but the dream maybe not. My plan now is to continue with the Newbie Routine for the now, take the newbie gains (if any) and go from there. Remember, my way of thinking is very fluent, and I may want to change my goals in the future… who knows. So I reserve the right to change my mind, so please be understanding.

I really do not understand something!!

Why people with 18 cm length and more want to increase ??

18 cm is more than enough for all woman ( I hope I am right here )

Hi Abdounet,
I hear what you’re saying, although I would say 18cm is probably enough for ‘most’ women. A similar question could be, why do people go to the gym and build big muscles, when they push a pen in an office for a living? I’m guessing there are as many answers as there are for wanting to do PE.

I have never said that I need a larger penis. I personally only see problems for myself in the future, if there are any serious increases. That is why I’m concentrating on EQ at this stage and any newbie gains. Once any easy gains have stopped, I hope I will be satisfied. I don’t want this to take over my life. Everything in moderation. After cementing any gains, a maintenance routine to keep my EQ. But… ideas can change. ;-)

If you look closely in Thunders, you will find many threads debating the question in your post. There are many different opinions, with many valid points. Reading these and other posts have helped me to understand myself. This is why I’m writing this Thread, as reading similar threads have really helped me.

I can only talk about my journey, but I’m sure if you look hard enough you find your own answers to help you through yours.

I can only wish you best of luck man! I feel as though an increase in EQ can be contributed to gains. It’s something you didn’t have before and you have now. Keep working, stay dedicated and enjoy the results!

Mid-month update:

Started taking some supplements a couple of weeks ago. L-Arginine 1000mg, lecithin 500mg, Zinc 10mg. Not as much as some people, and no real effect on my EQ, but I can see a slight increase in cum load… every little bit helps I guess.

PI’s are ok. EQ has improved, but no increase in number of erections. Still getting morning woods, but no improvement on random erections during the day (haven’t been getting any for a couple years anyway). Flaccid seems a little longer, feels heavier… I need to remember to be patient and not over train.

Routine after 6 weeks:

5 min warm up in Shower
Stretches: 2 Sets – All directions/ 30 sec hold each / finished with 1 min stretch down.
Wet Jelq: 1 Set of 120 / 3 sec each
Jelq squeezes: 10 Sets of 4 Jelq squeezes while holding the base.
Stretches: 1 Sets – All directions/ 30 sec hold each / finished with 1 min stretch down.
5 min warm down in Shower.

2 sets of 50 Kegels during the day.

Have been reading lately about how important EQ and PI’s are important for gains. These are things that are very important to me, for reasons outlined in past posts.

Being December, with work and Christmas, my days doing PE have not been completely fixed to a timetable. I still manage to average 4 to 5 sessions per week, which is good. I find though, that my PI’s start to slip if I do 3 days in a row. But I’m not really sure if the 3 days on, is the only reason.

There is a variable that is hard to factor in… Sex! I had sex 4 days in a row the other week, (high fives all-round, thanks). Now, for you young fellows, this probably isn’t a problem. But, with PE, as well as this amount of sex, (and been an old fart), the PI’s were really suffering on the last day of sex… so I’ve still got a bit of work to do on balancing my on / off days, with my lifestyle, while maintaining PI’s.

On the whole though, things are going well.

If EQ is your foremost goal, 1 on/ 1 off could be more suited. When you are on a routine for gains, EQ tends to be not constant.

Thanks Marinera for the advice. It sounds like I shouldn’t panic to much if I have a bad EQ day now and then.

In relation to the goal… well, there’s the million dollar question? For me, with out maintaining a fully working unit (good EQ) any size gains would be slightly pointless.

However, I would be kidding myself if I said I didn’t want any gains. I guess I just need to find the middle ground, where I get good EQ, with modest gains… Patience is a virtue.

You’ve already have fantastic starting size. Work on EQ. As you seek EQ, I tend to think you’ll see some gains as well. Forgive me if I missed it, how old are you?
