New way of BTC stretching
I’m not sure if this was mentioned before (I tried searching for this), but I found a “relaxing” way of doing BTC stretching. It really stretches the ligs and I can only use about 1/3 of my usual weight for when I’m doing regular, straight down stretching:
First off, if you are standing and stretching, just take one foot and put it on something that is 1-2 feet in the air (kind of like you are resting your bodyweight on that one foot). This should cause an intense stretch. Be careful, though. The first time I tried putting my foot up on a chair while hanging 7 pounds while standing up, I almost screamed in pain.
Second, take your bed and move it close to a wall. Lie down on the bed and put your feet on the wall with the weight hanging between your legs towards the floor. That’s it!
I use the Redi-Stretcher and this works out pretty good.
