Haven’t really been going at it long enough to see gains but last night I finally got used to hanging a 10lb weight from my member. Now the question I hang for 20 mins at a time twice a day with 10 lbs. If I hang 5 days on 2 off how long before YOU have personally gained anything and should I have more sessions each day or is two enough? I know each person is different. I don`t take the LOT seriously anymore “ModestoMan” has given me reason to think that a low lot can still be a gainer. Also my Ligament is High on the pubic bone. And I am hanging at 9:00 and 6:00 one direction per session.

Two sessions per day is very good. Very few people manage this.

How long did it take you to work up to 10 lbs?

Why do you feel the need to take days off?

It took me about a month before I saw any gains from hanging.

I suggest you pick one angle and stick with it—especially with only 2 sessions per day. A 6:00 angle will hit your ligs harder than a 9:00 one. If ligs are your target, go for 6:00.


Enter your measurements in the PE Database.

Are you using any type of ADS to keep the ligs stretched between sessions. I have definitely noticed more gains since I started using one.

I think you should try to add an extra set in there. 40 minutes a day, 5 days per week is not much hang time in my humble opinion. I made some excellent gains (at least .5 inches, maybe more) in about a month, hanging around 60-80 minutes per day.

Cool thanks guys. 6:00 It is, and it took me 3 weeks to graduate to 10 lbs. And I got my AutoExt ADS today Will hang early in the day then ads then hang then finish with the ads and some jelqs. I must say The AutoEtx ads Is well made and easy to use mostly it’s comfortable.

Testing LOT Theory

I found no thread as such so far, but on a thread I started talking about me having a low lot. ModestoMan has said a few things that made me question the LOT theory. Try looking up the LOT simulator. By modestoman

Two sessions a day is good, but from what I’m reading he is only hanging two sets a day. You should try to hang at least one hour session a day, two hours is better, one morning and one later in the day or night. A typical hang session is three twenty minute sets with at least a ten minute break between each set. It takes about an hour and a half to get sixty minutes of actual hang time. It will take even longer if you have trouble wrapping or adjusting the hanger or interruptions. Of course any hang time is better than none. We all do what we can. But one needs to hang at least five hours a week, ten is better to see any serious gains.
