Thunder's Place

The big penis and mens' sexual health source, increasing penis size around the world.

I hung hanged for the first time today.

The idea is for the penis itself or as Bib calls them, the “shoulder” of your penis take the pressure, not the glans. This is why you should start at 5 pounds and get your wrap down and get your soft tissues accustomed to the forces of the lateral compression. Basically, you are mashing your dick so that the penis itself is supporting the weight, not the glans. Technique and wrap are everything bro.

There are guys who are going for what is known as “hardcore hanging” where they are trying for extreme weights and minimal sets. Apparently it is working for them. My gains came from 3 hours a day of 20 minute sets, building up in weight. A majority of my gains came from 15 pounds and a cheap PVC hanger I made.

Serious starting point: Nov. 2, 2009/BPEL 5.75 x 4.75 inches.

Current BPEL 7 1/2 x 5.5 inches.

Goal: BPEL 8 x 6 inches. Hell, if I hit 8, I'm going for 9!

I don’t know if it’s possible with the clamp you’re using, but try tightening more during your first set to prevent the sliding.

To my thoughts on max weight… Who cares about the weight? I can’t see how it matters from one guy to the next. Besides, I believe he’s been hanging for 2 years now, so he’s very experienced.

One thing I’ve pounded into my head throughout all my reading on hanging is this: The amount of weight is inconsequential

Our bodies are all completely different. Shelovesit or whoever else may feel fatigue at 40lbs, while another guys feels the same at 8lbs. I see it as a huge risk to move up in weight too fast. I don’t want to generate internal scar tissue and then have that cause a plateau. Ligaments and tunica are hard enough to deform, I can’t imagine the work involved in breaking up scar tissue! Yikes.

Better safe than sorry. Slow and steady wins the race. Hanging is not a weight lifting competition. PE is a marathon, not a sprint. Enough catch phrases, you get the idea.

Started hanging on 3/28/12 after minimal gains on the newbie routine. Still not discouraged! This game is 99.9% mental. Stick with it, gents.

After 1 month of hanging 5-6lbs BTC: 1/4" gain in BPEL and BPFSL!

I have jumped from 2 1/2 pounds to 12 1/2 pounds in a week and a half

Anyone that has had a back injury knows where you are coming from. Bad back pain and anything/everything aggravates it. Follow your own advise and don’t rush into hanging (which is what you have done). All you are doing is increasing your peckers ability to hold up under load bearing stress.

Hanging 101

Running a Massive Co-Front.

I did that to start and felt no tug at all on the ligaments.

Only when I got to 7 1/2 pounds did begin to feel the tugging.

Couldn’t manage a set today or yesterday. Too many people in the house all weekend.

a-unit,
>What do you make of guys like sheLovesIt who are heading for 40 pound sessions<

You have the wrong guy.

I can’t imagine hanging over 25 lbs and I have been involved with hanging a loooooong time.

sheLovesIt

a-unit,
I bet you meant daman. He is close to 40 lbs and I have been corresponding with him lately.

I am a less weight/more time type of hanger.

sheLovesIt

SheLovesIt, I believe I did read a recent thread between you two and confused you with daman.

I want to get hanging down correctly and realise that the lower weight and longer time approach is the best way to avoid scar tissue build-up and a dick that can pull a train car, but not get any longer.

I will be a little more cautious this week and look to going for longer sets with lower weight and not riding the glans.

I will hang later this morning starting with 5 pounds and see where we get.

I have never been the best at measuring BPEL, but in the last few weeks I have become concerned as I can only get an BPEL of 6 3/4” maximum.

Has anyone else experienced this, and could it be the result of the hanging?

Check out this just the first 2 or 3 pages should be enough. Loading, lengthening, healing. then check out this thread from firegoat More thoughts on how growth occurs. they both believe that too much weight to soon with little rest are not good practice. Check it out let me know what you think. I just changed my strategy up a little bit after reading those two threads.

Starting Measurements 03/03/2012: BPEL: 7.30" MSEG: 5.100"

Previous Measurement 11/19/2012: BPEL: 7.90" MSEG: 5.250"

Current Measurements 01/08/2013: BPEL: 8.0" MSEG: 5.250"

Goal: BPEL: 8.25" MSEG: 6.250" <-- Just a bit above the magic | How I'm getting there --> Routine and progress with pics

I just hanged with 5 pounds for 15 minutes and felt comfortable. I was able to swing and rotate the hanger to really get into the ligs, without feeling undue pressure on the glans like when I was at 12 1/2 pounds last week.

I will do one more 15 minute set with 5 pounds this afternoon and I will go through the links that yoshinator posted above (thanks yoshinator) and see what the more experienced people have to say.

Regarding loss of length, I think that the loss has to do with the shock of starting to hang and adding weight quickly, and I’m hopeful I can get that 1/4” back soon and start to gain again.

Good stuff, a-unit. Try to squeeze in more sets before you add more weight, unless you’re already at the max amount of time you can manage.

After 1 month of hanging 5-6lbs BTC: 1/4" gain in BPEL and BPFSL!

Did a second set of 5 pounds for 10 minutes abs added 2 1/2 pounds and instantly felt soreness from last weeks work.

I will stay with 5 pounds this week and get more sets in.

Flimflam, I will get a third set in today and see how that effects the soreness.

I was quite surprised that I was so sore from last week when I tried to go up in weight.

Cool. You should notice that with more sets you can keep the fatigue going without having to move up in weight too quickly. Once you reach that crazy fatigue, don’t be afraid to drop some weight if it becomes too much to bear during a set. Some guys also move from BTC to the SD angle during a set if they can’t handle the fatigue.

Bib recommends 10 hours per week minimum of “strapped in hanging time” (not including the breaks). Obviously there’s no hard and fast rule here, but in this case it seems like the more time you can hang, the faster you’ll see gains which makes sense. I get right around 10 hours a week, but what’s more important for me is to reach and ride fatigue. I haven’t been able to do that recently because a painful thrombosed vein, but I’m building my weight back up and I’m almost there!
