Penis extenders & septum

I still believe what we are talking about is the septum and not some hardened version of the dorsal vein or nerve. I’ve never heard of any type of vein that couldn’t be stretched significantly larger than it’s natural length.

Although nerve fibres can be fairly ridged and even feel like a cord (I injured myself doing weights and after much attempt at explanation the physio said I had stretched a nerve fibre, I could feel it really clearly under my arm, like bouncy guitar string) I still don’t believe they’d be able to take anywhere near as much force and/or punishment as this mysterious cord in the penis is clearly capable of withstanding.

It’s quite difficult to describe the cord to someone who does not have it, but it’s already been done very well here, so I will avoid repetition. For me, though, if I feel from the top I can clearly feel the cord and what feels like it branching to form the chambers of the CC on each side. If I feel from the bottom (I have to press my fingers in with reasonable force) I can feel like an upside-down valley, as if the CC’s chambers are meeting one another more completely at a more dorsal/upper portion of the penis, and the edges of the ‘valley’ I can feel extending outwards to form their respective chambers.

I don’t know how comprehensible my explanation is. In this picture http://www.anatomyatlases.org/Micro…late14277.shtml it shows what I’m trying to describe, if you push your fingers into the corpus spongiosum hard enough.

I remember reading somewhere on this site or possibly elsewhere that some people have one layer and some people have two layers of tunica (for each chamber) and in the rarest case that some people even have 3 layers of tunica. Since presentation of this cord symptom seems to be relatively rare I wonder if it’s possible there’s a connection there and that in some way 3 layers of tunica, when coming together at the septum can produce an exceptionally tough fibre, which we are describing.

I’m out of my depth here but I wonder whether people with the cord, therefore, find it harder to gain girth (assuming more layers of tunica = more resistance to girth work (purely speculation and I can imagine possible cases where the inverse would be true)). Can anyone report on this?

As for my new routine it’s basically involved buying a very powerful IR lamp (too powerful, probably) and hanging relatively light weight for about 10 minutes with the lamp pointed directly at the dorsal “cord” as I massage the septum/dorsal cord along it’s length. Once it’s as hot as is comfortable and I feel the heat has completely penetrated the cord I remove the IR lamp and and hang normally while swinging the weight around, until my penis has returned to it’s normal temperature, which can take as long as 15 minutes. Every second set, during the cooling phase of the exercise, I stick a drumstick between my legs and do a A-stretch so that my dick is bent at the dorsal side (hard to explain) and the full force is on the septum. This is quite uncomfortable so I watch TV or something in a weird crouched position. Again, I allow my penis to cool completely before re-heating. So basically long sets of low weight with timed heating.

I also do jelqing between sets when possible and clamped bends for length. With clamping, again, I heat before clamping, then clamp and remove the heat, so that maximum engorgement occurs while the penis is still hot, and is still extremely engorged while it cools. I’ve found the effect is, due to the shortness of my septum, it feels like it’s doing the bend all on it’s own, and I almost don’t need to apply any additional force as the cord is already being strained so much. I think this has contributed significantly to my gains.

The “septum” is not a strong limiting factor for PE, because it is composed mostly of circumferential collagen fibers, which provide very little resistance in the axial direction.

The structure that’s really giving you trouble is probably the dorsal thickening of the tunica. That is a region of thick collagen fibers running axially down the length of the penis starting around the pubic bone and extending roughly to the head. It is most prominent in the 10-2 o’clock region (with the dorsal vein being approximately at the 12 o’clock position).

It is common to mistake the septum for the dorsal thickening, but it’s probably worthwhile to be able to tell them apart. The dorsal thickening is easily targeted with fulcrum hanging (with the fulcrum placed under the corpus spongiosum). Downward A-stretches also work very well.

It’s also easy to target this area by moving the weight-bearing screws or supports for your hanger closer to the dorsal surface of the penis. I moved up the strap on my Captains Wenchette (1” thick Wench) and noticed a huge difference. It’s a harder adjustment with the Bib, but still very doable.

I’m corded, and after almost a year of PE, have noticed mainly base girth gains so far - zero length.

Seems like the cord is the dorsal thickening, not the septum. I would have thought it would limit length, not girth: personally, I can only really feel it in stretches, not jelqs.

So far, nobody’s reported total cordlessness, but I agree that some people talk like they don’t have it.

What do you mean by 10-2 o’clock region?

Is it possible having 3 layers of tunica could drastically increase the prominence of dorsal thickening, causing this cord like feeling?

Dicko I’ve read all of those. They fall a long way short of constituting ‘well documented’. This thread alone has been more informative than all of them put together.

I can’t post in the poll yet, haven’t decided if I’m actually a hard length gainer or not. It’s been ridiculously easy the past few weeks since I incorporated timed IR heating. From what I’ve learned about gaining with the cord, heating is really, really important in targeting this cord.

For some reason I have never felt anything like a cord in my penis, and cannot seem to find it.

Goal: 6.5" x 5.25" NBP

I know exactly what you are referring to nitefly, and it is my limiting factor too. Mine feels like a thick steel cable. I stretch as hard as I can, and all my other areas are somewhat loose, while the top of my penis is EXTREMELY tight during the tension applied. I hang over a PVC pipe to target this, and I am gaining.

Then you do not have a tight ligament on the top of your dick and your septum is not a problem.

So, the cord is taut*er* than the rest of the shaft, but not the *only* taut part? And if it were gone, it doesn’t feel like you’d get any extra length?

So, when you stretch with one hand and feel the shaft with the other, tautness is even throughout the length, not concentrated in any one area? Same from any angle?

Whether it’s the tunica or septum, I most definitely have this “cord” as well. After my newbie gains of about 1/2” to 3/4” I haven’t gained anything in length. This situation is what led me to research DMSO which, in turn, led me to Timacle in order to potentially soften this structure. Unfortunately this seems to be new territory and I can’t find much info from anyone who’s tried it. I finally went ahead and purchased the herbal Timacle cream and plan to (VERY cautiously) incorporate it into my routine.

DMSO thread: DMSO and hanging

Timacle thread (no responses as of yet): Using Timacle (Chiococca alba) to aid lig stretching

Thoughts?

As painful as it sounds, imagine the penis is cross section, so it appears roughly as a circle with the urethra at the bottom and the dorsal vein at the top. You can think of this circle as the face of a clock, with the dorsal vein at 12 o’clock and the urethra at about 6 o’clock. The “dorsal thickening” is then in the vicinity of the dorsal vein, but extends a bit on either side of it (between 10 and 2 o’clock).

The bottom picture at the link below shows the relevant anatomy:

Also useful:

A thread was posted a couple of years ago about a possible third layer of the tunica. Some guys had it and some guys didn’t, and it was suggested that the additional layer might be responsible for difficulty gaining.

Here it is: hobby - From PubMed

Enter your measurements in the PE Database.

I had a tough cord running the length of my penis that I felt like it was the limiting factor in my length gains. For me it wasn’t in the top center but on the left. I know this tough cord was my left chamber because my penis curves to the left. As my penis was straightening I felt more of a uniform stretch in my left and right chamber. As the chambers stretched together I felt like the tension was more and more toward the center of the penis. One way or another, you will find your point of most resistance. I think you guys don’t agree because everyone is at a different stage in PE and no penis is the same.

Starting size 6.5 x 5.5

3 Months into PE 7.25 x 5.5

Like I said, I have the cord also. Good news is, within 5 years, PE will be a doctors protocol, and although very expensive, people are gaining 1-2 inches in 6 months I believe with their treatments. Imagine that.
