Just use upward degree angles, and RSDT hanging to attack this thing guys, that’s what I’ve been doing.

This “Yoga ligiment rub” idea sounds pretty interesting. It may be what we need to get tough septums and “dorsenal thickenings” to moving.

There is a lot of tough ligaments and muscle and veins and all sorts of things in the penis. I don’t see how anyone could feel anything like this and be sure it’s this cord. I’m not saying you are wrong, but I’m just saying that I wouldn’t change your whole PE style to suit one certain possible limiting factor.

When I pull my penis out, all I get is a tough pullback hold, and when you kegel the whole penis feels very tough indeed. Could the people who think they are feeling this cord like septum explain how they could tell the difference that it is the septum when it’s buried so deep in the tissue of our penis.

Even today when wearing an ADS, I stretched outwards, and thought I felt this cord you guys speak of, but I realised it was nothing but a tough side of my shaft, there is no tough cord I could possibly ever make out in my penis by feeling while stretched out. I don’t understand how such a thing could be found this way.

Well, you probably don’t have one, which is probably good.

The cord may be something other than the septum, but some people not having them doesn’t mean nobody does: it seems they vary a lot from dick to dick.

The cord’s pretty unambiguous if it’s there: I personally agree with not only every subjective description given by people talking about their cords, but with their apparent confusion over others not knowing what they’re talking about.

It seems that its hard to imagine what it’s like for people who don’t have it but everyone I’ve seen who has it seem to agree on its characteristics. You’re just gonna have to take our collective word for it, there’s no ambiguity as to whether it’s the limiting factor or not. It is.

Yes, my thought exactly. If you have it, you can’t avoid noticing it.

And once you realize it, the idea it could be a strong limiting factor is quite easy.

I have the “cord” too, it appeals to me that this is dorsal thickening though.

Yes this is the limiting factor to my length gains, my penis is not fully extent while performing a stretch, the cord takes all the tension.

It feels like I am losing about a 5-10% stretched length because of it.

Yes I have an upward curve too. (Should we have a poll about cord and curvature?)

But it is really and I mean really easy for me to gain girth. I gain girth almost unconsciously

As far as my length gains go, I gain about 0.1” - 0.2” length per year of full and dedicated length PE.

Life is not fair some times, but that’s old news :)

I don’t think a poll is necessary. It seems everyone with the cord has an upward curve. There are also multiple threads of people asking questions like “upward curve = hard length gainers?” which fits with what’s been said here.

The fact that the cord seems to cause an upward curve and that people with upward curves have often complained of difficulty gaining length is, in my opinion, supporting evidence that it’s a limiting factor.

I have The Chord and have actually been more and more identifying it’s presence and wondering about it myself for some time. Now I’m thinking discovering this thread could possibly be the best thing that’s happened to my PE since 2007. I haven’t grown since early 2007 despite many extended periods of trying to be absolutely as dedicated to PE as is possible without messing up the rest of my life. The more I’ve done this though, the more I’ve been feeling it’s becoming apparent that the problem has not been not PEing enough, but rather that I simply have not been able to get enough strain into the tissues restricting the length of my dick. Thus, I’ve recently been becoming much more pessimistic than ever of my chances of being able to grow further. With the nature of my being uncut and really only being able to have success with vacuum hanging, I’ve been stuck at both the maximum weight (about 12lbs) and time per day possible for me yet not really feeling any strain in my dick. Just thought I’d share where I’m coming from in case it sound familiar to anyone else or something.

So now I want to drop all my previous ways and attack this chord.

Right now I hang straight out and like everything about my setup except for that it’s lacking a fulcrum. I guess the easiest way to start fulcrum hanging is by putting a pvc pipe or something across your lap? To be honest I’ve tried this sort of thing before to a degree, but always felt like I wasn’t doing it right or something with what I was using as fulcrum always wanting to roll away and things like that. Could someone point me to any particularly good threads that might be helpfui for ideas on various fulcrum hanging setups? And I also need to find an IR lamp.

I am going to immediately come up with a plan for attacking The Chord, return here with what I’ve settled on, and then report back after two months with how it’s going. I hope others are doing the same.

I too have this tough cord the entire length of my penis. I have not gained anything in 7 months but before this plateau I had gained just over an inch since June 2008. In August 2009 I plateau and this cord seemed to become more prominent down there. I have an upwards curve and I am currently trying fulcrums to see if I can get past this if not I will give up trying for length. I am trying so hard not to give up but girth exercise seems it might be the only way to make my dick bigger.

I have this cord, a slight upward curve, it’s extremeley difficult for me to gain length, girth comes even if I don’t want it. fulcrum seems to be the only way to gain some more length.

I’m still very new around here and quite apprehensive in getting flamed for this but here goes.. I have a theory..

People with the tough dorsal cord thingy are hard gainers for length, no doubts there, but that being said any length gains acquired through stretching the tough dorsal thingy may just be permanent due to a substantial amount of plastic deformation in the tough dorsal thingy/septum/dorsal thickening..

People without the tough dorsal thingy are easy length gainers but perhaps lose their gains easily due to less plastic deformation..

Just a theory guys, feel free to input.. :)

Ok hold on a moment. I have a upwards curve, quite a severe one sometimes. It seems when I stretch out my penis and feel along the very top of the shaft starting at the base there is a cord like string, it’s very much like a “hard vein” and I could see why most people might mistake this for a cord. But when I’m looking on detailed vein pictures of the penis, you see it’s just a superficial dorsal vein that runds along the top of the shaft. I’m not sure if this is what some people are feeling, but when I feel it, it really is a tough little cord, that feels like it’s holding your penis from stretching, it feels like it holds 99% of the tension when you stretch your penis. It also feels as though it is all the way through the thickness of your penis, but only noticeable by hand at the top.

IS this what some of you are feeling?
