The key to length gains

Regardless of your LOT, the key to length gains is found in stretching the tunica. Even guys with a very high LOT only have so much extra length found in their ligs; guys with lower LOTs have even less.

Even with a LOT of 9:00 to 11:00, I bet there is only about 1” to be found with lig lengthening. With LOTs below 8:00, there may not even be a 1/2 inch to be found.

The thing about lig gains - if they’re there - is that they come fairly quickly. But in my case, as with others, there weren’t any lig gains for me.

I started with a low LOT and didn’t begin to see length gains at all until I began stretching above 8:30-9:00 or so. Therefore, I would recommend that everyone test their LOT. If your LOT is low, then at least 80% of all your stretching should be above your LOT. If your LOT is high, then stretch your ligs in the beginning, until your length gains stop, then switch to tunica stretching.

It doesn’t hurt to mix in some stretching at lower angles also, but as Bib has often said, You should work smarter, not just harder.

So whether you’ve gained length quickly, then stopped (ligs) - or haven’t gained any length at all - it may be time to switch your focus to the tunica. When I began taking my ligs out of the stretches, I made my best length gains ever.

Nice post. I agree on the max possible length gains from the lig stretch. They actually cut them with only .5-1.0 inch gain and sometimes nearly nothing right after surgery.

Do you guys think you can still achieve ligament gains if they still feel like they are being stretched, as in the case of hanging?? Or do you think this may be a false sensation of potential gains?

Good post. But it is a good idea to heed hobby’s theory that an LOT value may rise due to upward hanging or stretching. IOW, if a guy’s LOT is low, it could possibly rise due to upward hanging or stretching, just as it lowers with hanging or stretching at lower angles. I can visualize the physics.

A good idea would be to continue to check your LOT over the months.

Also, I think there are a lot of guys that do have significant gains from lig stretching. In some cases, especially with really high exit points, I think there are over two inches to be gained, just from lig stretch. Probably many with over three. But I do agree that many guys after surgery are gaining from tunica stretch, and not from the cutting of the ligs.

It is irrelevant if the ligs continue to stretch, if there is no more upward curve within the body to pull out. You would be simply stretching the ligs, and taking stress away that would be better spent directed at the outer, and inner tunica.

Yeah… I have a LOT of 10:00-11:00 and the only thing stretching downwards gives me is soreness where my dick is attached to the pubic bone. I’m going to focus on stretching straight out-slightly upwards from now on… or until I want to spice things up and stretch straight downwards again :D

But seriously though, I’ve been plateaued at 8” bpel since the last week in august and it’s getting to me. I’ve been gaining 1/4” from April to August and now what?! Plateau :mad:

I was of the thought that hanging, even a down angle, would still stretch the tunica as well as the ligs. Am I wrong in this thought? Or is it just more focused (the tunica taking more of the weight) when you hang at higher angles?

I have never hanged but I have given it some deep thought. I think its the most proficient form of PE. Definitely the best option for hard gainers.

Where exactly? Do you feel it on the front of the pubic bone on the topside of the penis or underneath the penis deeper in toward the prostate?

Do you hang? If so, hang some moderate weight BTC for awhile and then either do some crunches or reverse kegels. Do you feel a stretch above your dick toward your belly button when doing them?

You’re right. Once the ligs lengthen enough hanging BTC, the tunica will share the load. The question is, do you want to work on both at the same time? Is, say 10 lbs., more effective when supported by both ligs and tunica, or only one? Obviously, one at a time is better. Get the most from the least.

If both ligs and tunica are at equal length in the position you are hanging - both sharing the load, you may be able to hang, say 20-30 lbs. or whatever and apply the same stress to the tunica as you could using 10 lbs. at an upward angle. The poundages I’m giving are wild guesses, but you get the point.

I’m a little confused on your last statement, but I am beginning to see the light. My question is- when stretching the tunica exclusively, is there areas inside and outside the body being stretched? Because the ligs attach roughly where the shaft enters the body. You said that when the ligs come into play they can share the load and take some stress off the tunica, but if the only part of the tunica being stretched is outside of the body beyond the ligs, then the ligs as well as the tunica would get 100% of the force. Since the tunica has to hold the 30 lbs. before the force hits the ligs with 30lbs. They couldn’t split the weight in half because they are lined up linearly.

Yes. Generally, most angles used to hit the tunica work the whole tunica to some degree. The tunica/shaft anchors deep within the pelvis. A good deal of it is behind the ligs.

The theory/idea is to first lengthen the ligs enough to basically get them out of the way and pick up some relatively quick gains by doing so.

Think of the ligs as being in the way of a good tunica stretch. You want to stretch them enough to give you room to work the shaft. Then focus on what we are calling “the tunica,” meaning the shaft itself and/or its attachment point within the pelvis.

Yes. If a guy with tight ligs (high LOT) hangs BTC exclusively, at some point the ligs will lengthen enough so the tunica shares the load. Then he would be better off switching to tunica work until it lengthens enough behind the ligs to retension the ligs. When that happens, which should be indicated by a raised LOT, stretch the ligs again to regain enough slack to continue working the tunica. See saw.

Think of ligs as pesky things in need of just enough loosening so you can get down to business. Stretching them more than necessary is futile. So the theory goes anyway. It makes sense.

Yeah. I’ve experienced this after doing intense upward stretches… holding the stretch while I flex my PC(?) muscle. After about fifty or so quick reps, I start to lose tugback at 12 o’clock.

You’ve gained quite a few inches in length, have you noticed any negative side effects from so much elongation?

I just have it in the back of my mind that there could be some negative consequences from stretching the penis so much - like those tribesmen from Africa with the shoelace cocks. I realize that they’ve stretched them to the extreme (I bet they hung those rocks for many hours per day, and probably hung for hours at a time…over many years - but still, there has to be a danger point that you should not cross, probably different for each individual).

I can think of two things right off hand. One is sitting on my dick when getting into a vehicle. And another is my penis dunking in a strange toilet when taking a dump. Very disconcerting.
