My ideal unit is how the film makers made those guys appear to me as a teenager. It’s probably totally unattainable and if I did have anything like it it would probably realistically be to big for practical purposes.

On the contrary. If she can follow the storyline it’s a total ‘girl-power’ (and very hot) sex scene. Plus Dr Manhatten’s ample dong is on display pretty much the entire time he’s on screen.

Either way, I’m not taking a girl to see a movie where I guy has a foot long cock. All that will do is reinforce, consciously or sub-consciously, the importance of dick size and mislead her as to what a normal sized cock is. I understand its a fictional movie, but you’d be suprised the effects this can have on a person mentally.

Reading that makes me not want to see the movie, I don’t know anything about watchmen anyway.

I’m not sure where he got the information about the symbolism, but yes it is bigger than the original comic book renderings. Maybe they altered it, but I thought he was still uncut.

I think it comes back to the size myth. It’s okay in a comic book but if you have to put it on screen ‘screen dicks’ have to be at least as big as porn star’s if the guy sporting it is the protagonist/hero, since it’s just what people expect.

It’s a genre thing. People are so used to seeing ‘huge’ cocks on screen that it’s become normalised and so anything near an average sized flaccid would send the wrong message. e.g. in Waterworld when Kostner’s character is urinating and the camera pans up the back of his legs it pans to one side somewhere near his knees, the suggestion being that it has to because they can’t show Kostner’s supposedly huge penis dangling between his thighs.

Personally I don’t think it would have looked right to have had an average-sized unit on Manhatten for the movie.

Incidentally if you’re a Watchman fan I’d say definitely, without question go and see the movie, otherwise you might want to approach it with an open mind. It seems as true to the original source material as a film possibly can be. Personally I think it’s a great piece of cinema, but if you’re looking for a straight up action film it might not be for you.

As for the ending, I think in a digital post 911 world the end had to be changed just to have the same impact. I’m glad it was changed, and I’m a long-time Watchman uber-fan.

Even though I have been a hanger, a pumper, an all-day-stretcher, power jelqer (yeah, I know), and a clamper I’m only now using the newbie routine for the first time after a long long break.

Currently my motivation goes like this:

While I’m PEing I move from the ‘almost big’ category to the ‘big, almost huge’ category (based on kingpole’s suggested measuring technique (Is Your Dick As Small As You Think It Is) which corresponds to my own perception of what’s considered big/huge etc.) because the process keeps me a little larger than I would be otherwise.

If I stop PEing it may cause me a loss of length due to shrinkage due to age and erection quality and loss of the added size that an ongoing PE routine maintains on a daily basis.

While I continue PEing, having recommenced after a long long decon break and expecting newbie-type gains as a result, I should be moving ‘relatively quickly’ from the ‘big’ category to the ‘huge’ catagory with each additional exercise. This breaking into and continuing to move into a new category with each new exercise and each new session is good motivation.

The chance of me getting laid just due to the size of my unit also increases exponentially at this point.

This is the kind of thinking I use to motivate myself.
