I’ve been doing the beginner routine for a little over a week now and have surprisingly already seen some gains. However I’ve been noticing a turkey neck that goes up about 1 inch on my shaft. I can’t tell if I’m just noticing it more because I’m doing P.E. Or if it is actually something that is developing as I do these exercises. I think this may have developed because I was starting as low as possible when jelqing to avoid the baseball bat effect and this may have brought some of the scrotal skin up. I also keep reading that reverse stretching actually makes it worse and that surgery is the only way to fix it so I’m confused about what I should do. Does anyone have any suggestions for preventing this from getting worse or a better jelqing technique?

I have the turkey neck too, trying to get rid of it myself. I’ve been doing some searches and it seems a leather ball stretcher works well.

Also be mindful when you jelq to only use a reverse grip so you’re not taking the turkey neck with you.

It is almost certainly a case of you are just noticing something that has always been there, which is very common with PE. Turkey necks and glans hardness (lack of, apart from when close to orgasm) are the two most common things that most guys have, but never notice until they put their penis under the microscope of PE. Most guys don’t need to do anything about turkey necks as they are normal. Gentle sack stretching can help if it bothers you.


Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

I have also noticed my turkey neck. I’m sure it’s always been there. Some of it might be from the extender. All I know is it really gets in the way of clamping. It gets irritated and pinched after a couple sessions. But I don’t think it’s something I will work on. It’s just a pain in the ass.

Stretch the underside shaft skin between the glans and the turkey neck. Nip this in the bud, or you could have a real turtling problem start to fester.

I notice it helps to wear tighter fitting underwear, like a bra for the testicles. also before exiting my shower, I turn the water to cold and hit the gems. this technique will prolong turkey neck for at least part of the day. the real trick is to find underwear that keeps ur sac separated from the testes as sebatious oils will stick our dicks to our balls and further the problem

Could you elaborate on this ? I definitely don’t want anymore turtling. How does this result in turtling ?

Sorry for the delay. By having a turkey neck instead of shaft skin, there’s is a slightly larger circumference of skin around the base, making full on retraction (turtling) easier. Retraction in general is normal, but not advisable. By stretching the bottom side shaft skin marginally more than the rest, you can send the turkey neck back to the scrotum where it belongs. Don’t apply too much pressure. Also if you’re sick of retraction all together, look up the “HTW” thread.
