I was curious if anyone had any information on stretching on rest days. I started my routine on Aug 8th and have been really consistent with stretching before I jelq for about 10-15 min and started to use a IR lamp throughout. From lurking around it seems like you can’t over manual stretch if you don’t use too high of an intensity.

Yes, you can ‘over’ manual stretch. If you are doing a stretch only routine, you can stretch every day; that doesn’t mean you can’t over-do it if you really try (turtling is the usual outcome). But if you jelq, you do need rest days. Rest days should be rest days; no PE. You can however do light piss-pulls on rest days if you have done at least 3 months of PE. By light, I mean slowly and gently taking the penis to full length to ease the tissues out, rather than actually doing a ‘stretch’ as you would on a work day.

(If your routine already has plenty of rest built in, you can usually safely do piss pulls on rest days from first starting PE, without over doing it).


Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

I almost never turtle and if I do I’ll lay off for a day so I started doing 6 days on 1 day off but that day will be completely off!

You need proper exercise, proper diet and proper rest for an ultimate outcome.. As a matter of fact, our body cells don’t grow when you exercise, they grow when you rest.

I exercise the rest of my body too much these as of late. It’s addicting. Same with PE, but I am starting to see the importance of rest.

I had a good session last night and I believe it was because of the rest days I took and it seemed like my BPFL was a tad longer. This leads me to believe that I might be over training. Instead of going with 6 days on 1 day off I will do 3 days on and 1 off. It’s all too easy to be over zealous when you first start out, but with my limited experience I am beginning to see how important rest is for PI’s and growth. It’s too bad though that I almost get anxious if I don’t train, but that’s a whole different issue!!

I keep seeing this ‘turtling’ term thrown around. What exactly does that mean?

Um I don’t have a formal definition, but it’s when you shrivel up or kinda go scrunch up. Or when you’re not loosened up. Haha I suck at defining, but I hope you get the picture.

Yeah, basically. I think it’s when the tissues or tunica become over stressed, and as a repair mechanism they will “turtle” to heal from the trauma. The key is not to have that kind of trauma or if you do over train then don’t let it turtle, but of course take days off when your PI’s are negative

Like most exercises, it is better never to take a real rest day. For muscle building you need to have 48 hours of rest but from all that I have read there is a real danger in resting more than a day between dick stretching exercises. Apparently after 2 days the tendons that are the real culprits in taking so long to lengthen your cock begin to really toughen up. That translates to more and more intensity the next time so I would never take more then the 24 hours between sessions.

I take a week off every 6 weeks and 3-4 months off a year. It has never been anything other than positive. What you say is more true for stretching/hanging only routines. Girth work needs some rest - the amound depends on the intensity of the work.

How long does it have to shrink before its considered ‘turtling’? After a session mine will shrink for a short period of time before it re-lengthens?
