Some newbie stretching questions
I recently posted my intro thread..
.And since then I’ve been doing a light routine for about three weeks now.
I’ve been doing I guess what is considered the manual stretches. Up-side-side, straight-side-side, down-side-side and rotate. I have been doing them in the shower and spending maybe 3-5 min total doing the stretches and then taking a short break and doing them once more. A period of 4-5 days with 2-3 days off.
I also added I guess what might be considered jelquing. During flaccid stage.. Starting at the base and quickly gripping like trying to push up a tube of toothpaste that is almost empty. Moving up the shaft with other hand like climbing a rope. Quick grips and tugs maybe about 10 times and then at the end I’ll throw in a downward stretch for about 30 seconds and then repeat that sequence one or two more times.
In my intro post I shared my concern for jelquing and injury but so far I feel pretty comfortable with this maybe in place of jelquing.
I have noticed some soreness that appears a little later after the routine and lingers a bit throughout the day. A little bit of that balls get "pushed into your stomach" feeling. Also just a general soreness due to the tugging. It just kinda lingers, I’m not sure if it something that should cause a red flag.
Another question I have would be if anyone thinks a consistent routine like this has the possibility to yield any gains.
I know it’s too early to see any results or gains. But just curious what those with experience might think since it probably is a very light and limited routine.
As I mentioned in my intro post my flaccid length fluctuates a lot and so far I’ve noticed while the routine might give me some very temporary length as I’m going through it. I still find myself in the same fluctuating state. Again, I don’t expect to see gains or results right away but I guess another question is at some point should I notice this fluctuation stopping? Asking for feedback from those with experience. That is one of my goals, if PE might help with it, flaccid gain and a consistent flaccid hang.
Thanks everyone for the feedback in advance and for reading. Everyone has been great here so far and I hope I can report some results soon enough!
