I never really stuck to the newbie routine. I have been lurking for awhile and have been PEing for about a month and a half. I’ve been only jelqing for 10 minutes and doing some exercises I’ve picked up since becoming a member. I’m solely concentrating on girth but I haven’t noticed any gains at all. Maybe a longer flaccid and a little bit thicker but I feel like I’ve already stopped gaining if even started. I want to know if I should give up PEing for a couple of weeks and take a little decondition break then follow the newbie regimen, or should I start clamping or something at a very low level like maybe 1st day:

5 min. Warm-up wash cloth
10 min. Dry jelq
5-10 min. Girth exercises (ulistretch routine #3)
5 min. Warm-down wash cloth
Day 2:
5 min. Warm-up wash cloth
5 min. Clamp
5 min. Dry jelq
5-10 min. Girth exercises (ulistretch routine #3)
5 min warm-down wash cloth
Day 3 rest and repeat

As of right now this is my routine:
Day 1 AM
5 min. Warm-up
10 min dry jelq
5-10 girth exercises (ulistretch routine #3)
5 min warm-down
Day 1 PM:Same as AM

Day 2: All same as day 1
Day 3:rest

So I need some help. Please help me tweak my routine to make it balanced. Thank you.

I always try to relate to individuals based on my own experience and when I was a month into it, I was going “gonzo” on trying to move forward. Why would you stop, it does not make much sense. PE does not require a great time commitment but your time intervals are pretty small, to say the least. You need to focus a little bit more and you need to improve on the time intervals by 2x, and maybe 3x., if you want to get anywhere. You should not be clamping at this point, since you can still realize gains with jelqing technique. You need to start hanging or stretching with a vigor inorder to begin the process of making it “big.”

Doing your routine twice a day at the moment is over training.

Doing a girth routine on top of 10 minutes jelqing, after only a month and a half is over training.

More is not better! If you are breaking down tissue before it has recovered, you won’t grow. If you consistently overtrain, your penis will just toughen up to be able to cope with the strain you are putting on it, making gains harder to come by.

Go back and read the Newbie Routine, and just follow it for a while. At least 8 to 12 weeks, and more if you are gaining. Don’t expect to gain anything in the first few weeks as you will already have accustomed your penis to more work than it should be doing at this stage. Newbie gains are precious. Avoid overtraining and maximise the ‘easy gains’ while you can get them!

I also think it is much better to do wet jelqs for the first few months; they give you better feedback when learning to ‘feel’ what is happening inside your penis (absolutely essential to learning how to gauge the right amount of pressure to use for best results, throughout your whole PE career).

I would strongly advise against any sort of clamping now. Apart from the fact you won’t be conditioned and would be likely to pick up an injury, you would most likely only toughen up the tissues to resist the suddenly increased loading, considerably reducing your ability to gain longer term, without extreme measures.


Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

Isn’t a month a half to early for you to already try something new?


Was (july 07): 5.25 nbp (5.9 bp)X 4.5

July 10 :6.15 nbp (6.65 bp)X 4.8

Goal: 6.75 nbp (7.1 bp) x 5.1 Final goal : 7.25 nbp x 5.3

But I’m a month and a half into something over my head for being new. I need to calm it down a little for it to actually be healthy for my penis and to actually see gains.

If you switch your routine tomorrow, you probably won’t gain for a while, but you will still get all the EQ benefits, flaccid hang etc. and most importantly it keeps you in the habit of doing PE and being consistent.

If you take a months deconditioning break, sure, you may get brief ‘newbie gains’ again, but your penis will remember its previous level of ‘exertion’ and re-condition quickly to that level, so you probably wouldn’t gain any advantage over just changing routine and starting tomorrow.

You may get easier length gains. It depends a bit on how much stretch you were getting when you were jelqing. Just try it and see.
