New Member - Quick question regarding tight circumcision

Hi All!

I just started my PE journey this week, and have been reading all the guides posted and trying to familiarize myself with the content and strategies. I have started with the beginners PE routine (5 min stretching, 10 min jelq). I do have a question, and I am hoping someone might have been in the same boat as me.

Background:
The main reason I have started PE is because I was circumcised as an adult about 2 years ago. They made my circumcision extremely high and tight (I think because they did not realize I was a grower) and as a result of the circumcision I am pretty sure I have lost about 0.5"-1.0" inches in Erect length. I never used the BPEL in the past but from what I remember I was around 6.0"EL and now I am around 5.1" EL. My circumcision is so tight that when erect there is absolutely no skin movement, and it honestly feels like my skin is going to tear or explode. My scar line is almost half way up the shaft which makes some stretching painful after a while just due to having to hold on to the sensitive inner skin.
For reference my BPEL is 5.65" currently.

Question:
Has anyone had a situation similar? Did this type of tight circumcision impact your ability to PE? Is it worth trying the newbie routine or is there something else I should be doing? My fear is that because of how tight it is, I will not be able to make any PE gains.

Thanks in advance!

May I first ask you what made you want to get circumcision as and adult ?

I had recurring yeast infections, and the urologist suggested that I get a circumcision so that they would be prevented, plus all the other supposed benefits of getting circumcised.

Did it work - the yeast infections, you dont get them anymore ?

What exactly are the other benefits ?

Yes it did work for the yeast infections etc. The other benefits are general better hygiene, reduced risk of STD’s, reduced risk of penile cancer. That being said, I would very happily take back at least some of my skin since it caused my penis to reduce in length, and rather painful erections due to the tightness

Im very sorry to hear that. Painful erections sound bad.

There certainly are exercises for this and devices like phallosan .

The penile skin can be stretched; it’s a side effect of hanging or jelquing. You can also do it manually; hold the skin firm against the base, then tug the shaft skin away from the body. You can do it steady-state, or as a slow jelquing action.

After I started getting gains my skin was too tight, and I had to start stretching so I didn’t get an uncomfortable curve. As with all PE, it’s a slow process, but the problem is curable with only time and work; no surgery required.

I’m really sorry about the bad job your urologist did on the circumcision.

I think it’s fucked up they are so ready to permanently alter your genitals, risking your future sexual happiness, just to help treat yeast infections….

Don’t get me wrong… I’m actually JUST getting over one myself and it took a fucking month of applying cream multiple times a day to defeat it (hopefully I didn’t just jinx it…). It’s miserable and frustrating…. This is only my 2nd ever and both times it was entirely self-caused. First time it happened right after I did an at home PPP removal and slathered a bunch of neosporine under my foreskin and kept it closed for a whole day without cleaning… the neo killed all the beneficial bacteria, but not the yeast, so it could proliferate. Freaking miserable man! It finally took using monistat, the actual vaginal inserts spread on my glans and foreskin instead of regular anti fungal cream to cure it because it has 3% micronazole instead of the 1% in the jock itch creams…

This time it was actually on the outside of my foreskin and it happened after the skin was irritated due to me using a skin brightening cream in an attempt to remove some discoloration on my shaft…
Luckily my glans and inner foreskin were spared this time, but it still took 1 month to cure.

Anyway, I’m rambling but I did have a point!!!

Luckily, skin can be stretched very reliably. Circumcised people have regrown their entire foreskin! It is very much possible!

You just need to be patient and committed, just like Andy said.

Stretch and hold for at least 30 seconds, as often throughout the day as you can without getting too much skin irritation.

It might be worth joining the foreskin restoration subreddit and asking for some advice there, even if you don’t want to regrow your entire foreskin and instead just get a little extra shaft skin so your penis isn’t being restricted by it.

Considering how many forum members have related their personal stories of poorly done or botched circumcisions, I have to wonder what the satisfactory success rate on sex change "bottom surgery" is.

I also wonder how the outcomes differ between the work of a board-licensed urologist vs. any generic mohel.

Thanks all for the advice! I will try to do some foreskin stretching as well as you mentioned. I will also look into the foreskin restoration site! @andyj it seems like you were also circumcised tightly. Did you choose to regrow your foreskin as you mentioned, or just enough to allow for better PE gains?

I think the issue is that circumcision is thought of as a very casual “no-biggie” thing and any old urologist or ob/gyn can perform it. In the NICU where my son was delivered, they just straight up brought out the torture contraption to strap down babies and did it on the spot before a premie was even discharged from the NICU…. Without warning to those around either. My poor wife was traumatized! We had to turn them down TWICE when they saw on his chart that “he hasn’t been circumcised yet”

Bottom surgeries on the other hand are a BIG deal and plastic surgeons study a lot in order to perform it.

Unfortunately, even in the BEST case scenario, it’s an impossible task to accomplish with any aesthetic and functional result.

MTF surgeries require constant dilation in order to retain any size of a “neovagina” and any time you fall of the wagon and miss the daily multiple-hours long dilation, you permanently lose depth and width.
If you ever go to jail and you aren’t allowed to use your dilators, you permanently lose any prospect of ever getting penetrated. And that’s a 1 time only surgery. Once you lose it, there is no fix it a second time later… you don’t have the tissue necessary.

Neo-penises are the stuff of nightmares… there is no glans possible. You can’t relocate the clitoris.

I really do feel for people who are trans. There is no good solution at this time other than to accept the body you DO have somehow…

Sorta like us guys and our penises… ya, you can expend a ton of effort and time and change the size slightly, but at the end of the day, you gotta accept what you have and make the best of it.
