Yea you’ll start to get accustomed to it but for the price who cares right? Don’t like it, return it and try something else or just keep it and buy more =)

I have a question for you guys regarding infrared.

I bought a 150w bulb and an adjustable height lamp today. I just used it for the first time.

I used it throughout my entire workout. My routine consists of:

12 minutes of manual stretching

12 minutes of jelqing

3 -8 minutes pumping sessions

In everyone’s experience, what would be the ideal distance between the bulb and the penis using a 150w bulb?

Obviously, too close and it will start to burn. I figured that out already all by myself :)

One more thing, I know heat is not good for testicles. Should care be taken to shield the ole nuts from the lamp?

Thanks!

I’m fine thanks mowerman. Good to see you back.

150w is about ideal. Your penis is not a particularly heat sensitive organ, but the back of your hands are heat sensitive, so if the heat is comfortable on the backs of your hands, it should not cook your penis. With a lamp it’s easy to move closer or further away throughout your routine anyway. The temptation is always to slightly over-do the heat, so bear that in mind and resist it.

Keep your testicles covered! IR penetrates well. I have written quite a few posts about IR in the past, including about using folded white paper towels to help protect your testicles, so on advanced search you could always search ‘IR lamps’ and put ‘firegoat’ in under ‘user name’ and click the ‘show results as posts’ option, and you should find out some more about IR.

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

LOL!

You should see the full size picture :D

Thank you figo!

If you drop just a “little” water on the penis while you’re warming it with a IR lamp, could it be that the water is conducting the heat better ? I’ve read a thread here about “moist heat”.

Because of the way IR penetrates, water is not necessary. If you are using a method with direct contact, like a wash cloth, rice sock, microwavable gel pack etc., then you are right; moist heat is much superior to dry.

Actually, I think the water on the surface could absorb most of the IR radiation (of course depending on the amount of wet surface), resulting in a warm/vaporing water and in colder tissues beneath the skin. That would be useless.

Makes sense; thanks for the answers.

I like the 250W. I was using a brooder set up from lowes, but I just got a desk lamp from Amazon at $99 (with bulb). It has a timer and is easy to set up and take down. I also think that IR heat makes a huge difference.

Something like this?

I’ve got this base, seems like it should work fine. Can clamp it to almost anything.

Which doesn’t really need to be a reflector since the bulb is a reflector bulb.
