Hey guys, starting the newbie routine, did it before for about a week and quit Due to no real reason. This time commiting and on day 21, I have a question. Is it okay if I hold a full BTC stretch for 10 min? I feel a good pull and it doesn’t hurt? I’ve gained 1 cm in girth already (could be to EQ) and maybe a half a cm of length (not 100% sure on this).. My main focus is to gain length first. Just wondering if I should

Cut down on jelqing and increase stretching?

Also, sorry for all the questions. But after 3 months would it be okay to add an extender? Or would purchasing a TDP mineral lamp be more beneficial? (Would rather get one over the other due to financial reasons)

Stick to manuals I would say for at least a year, gains will come, slowly but surely!

And what about holding the stretch for a full 10 min?

I am just 7 months in but holding a stretch for ten mins seems like too much

Build up to the 10 minutes in minute intervals, just for safety, but there is no problem holding a 10 minute stretch, apart from your hands getting tired. :)

I would definitely use heat - any 150W IR lamp would be ideal, you don’t need to spend a fortune. Extenders are relatively gentle, but I’d wait until manual gains slow before adding one.


Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

How are you gonna hold the stretch for 10 minutes, without cutting of the blood circulation to your glans?

The hand is not an extender. The penis slips therefore you need a clamped grip below your glans to hold the stretch that long.

Stick to the basics for now.

BPEL 7 EG 5.5 NBPEL 6.5 Flaccid length 4.5. Started Jan 2015 at bpel 6.5 nbpel 6.0 and eg 5.2 flaccid length was 3.5

I should add a better heat source such as an IR lamp (right now I’m using a rice sock). Just wanted to say I’m grateful

For this site. I’ve creeped this and some others for a while and this one seems the best for its transparency and no gimmicky/marketing advice.

Looks like I’ve gained 1cm in girth and 0.5 cm of length so far. I’m looking at IR lamps but checked Walmart, Canadian tire and Home Depot but couldn’t find anything.

I found this http://m.ebay.ca/itm/Philips-HP3616…5258?nav=SEARCH and am ready to pull the trigger but thought I’d be able to get one around $50 CAD? Any thoughts or links to what I can grab?

That is a type of lamp I recommend, but over here they are about £20, so the price seems very high, plus it is a 240 volt lamp so probably won’t work in Canada.

Grabbed one with a proper lamp (just a clamping one and 150W bulb from a pet store for about 70 bucks Canadian. Thanks Firegoat. Also do you know if there is a diff between an IR bulb and a ceramic heater for PE? They had those as well I just went with the bulb since it was 20 dollars less.

I’ve never tried a ceramic heater, but as IR is a penetrating heat, it is the first choice.

Add some heat and helicopter shakes between stretches to be sure. It is really annoying when you do it wrong and makes

I haven’t noticed having a cold penis Doing that. I’ve gone as long as 5 min. But to be safe I’ve cut it down to 1-2 min max with 30 seconds in between (I’d rather be safe than sorry) . The IR lamp makes a HUGE difference already as opposed to a rice sock as well for heat.

Not sure what the Vets advice is here. I’ve noticed that increasing my jelqing time as reccomended in the newbie routine feels like I’m overworking. Not as good of PIs as when I was at 15 min (I’m at 22 min) doing newbie routine 2 on 1 off. Should I cut down? I don’t want to be overworking. And feel like the 10- 15 min time was best for me? I don’t want to overwork but don’t want to slack either. I’ve only missed one day out of 39 and made up for it the next day. I guess my question is . Have people had 15 min a day jelqing be useful long term?
