Hair on penis shaft

Hi everyone,

I want to know if any of you guys have it and if you think that circumcision is the cause. I had hair on my penis and it took me a while to get rid of it, now my penis is completely smooth and I’m satisfied with the way it looks. For those who suffer from this disturbing problem and don’t know what to do, I made a site with some solid information about this disturbing problem in order to help people with the same issue:

Looks like you’ve done a good job with the site. Obviously I’ve not read it all. I’m surprised the dermatologist though it anything other than normal! I don’t think it has much if anything to do with circumcision; I’ve seen a lot of uncircumcised penises (being in the UK, where circumcision is less common) that have plenty of hair around the lower inch or so.

I have this as well and based on what I have read I also believe that it is due to my circumcision as an infant. While I haven’t had such a procedure myself, a procedure called hair removal electroloysis is used to remove hair (I know my sister uses it remove her body hair). I am unsure if such a procedure could be used for shaft hair though. I do find my shaft hair to not be aesthetically pleasing but I cannot speak as to whether or not if it impairs performance. I have gotten away with trimming it, but I would like it to be gone. Not really high on my priority list mind you, so I don’t think I will be shelling out money anytime soon to undergo electrolysis.

Well since we’re on the subject. I was wanting to try some hair removal stuff called “Magic”. I heard my brother talk about it and was willing to give it a try bc tweezing sucks ass. I guess black people use this instead of shaving. I don’t know what the hell my bro was talking about so anybody have any experience with this?

I had small hairs nearly all the way to my tip and I am uncircumcised, I’m not a very hairy fellow either so it just happens.

I laser-ed all my unwanted hair started on my upper arms where I wanted my tattoo sleeves, then the back of my neck, all of my back, butt, back of legs, “bikini area” (just to separate the pubes and leg hair) then my penis … its taken a little over a year and about 20 15 min sessions but I’m happy to say all my un wanted hair is gone or reduced to peach fuzz, still have 100% of my chest, arms, knuckles & leg hair. (laser hair removal is addicting)

Hair just happens … or not. I will say it seems that if the circumcision is done too tight it would pull pube skin down slightly into the shaft, bringing hair with it.

Just another reason NOT to circumcise the kid.

It’s called Magic brand Shaving Powder. I got some at Wal-Mart, so I’m assuming you could get it at Walgreens or CVC or a lot of other places. I haven’t experimented much with it, but I’d definitely recommend using caution to make sure it doesn’t cause a reaction on your nuts or penis.

@ clgp7 nice info. My brother also said that you should put some on your sensitive areas in a very small amount and wait 24 hours to see if your skin reacts. I meant to get some today, but forgot.

So I tried this magic stuff, and I have to say it works well at removing the hair right at the root and keeps nearly hairless for 2 days. I did the bottom of the shaft and around where I had some extra hair around. This hair was thick so I put the recommended amount for about 7-9 min and I scraped it off with a butter knife. It was completely smooth like nothing i’ve felt before. It works and is awesome! no irritation or bumps at all. A couple days later the hair started to grow back and itched a little.

All in all buy this product if you are looking for a better way than shaving.
