I posted this question in my log but I just realised it might not be the best place to ask the question so I’m asking it back again here:

I’ve been measuring for three days in a row and the NBPEL fluctuates a lot. It went as low as 5,25 and as high as 6,25 so I will be following the BPEL for the results as it seems more accurate. But my question is about the BPEL measurement with a stiff ruler or with a measuring tape. With the ruler it says 6,5in but with the measuring tape it says 7in since I can press more. These measurements have been the same for 3 days. Which one of these should I use as a reference in my signature?

For Bpel go with the ruler. The tape is soft and can bend/slide up and throw off your measurement. However you can use the tape for girth measurements.

Start:7.5 BPEL X 5 MSEG

Goal: 7 MSEG

I have a question for us: many ruler have the first 0.24 inches non graduate. With the nbpel measurement no problems, because we push to start at the pubis with the 0 mark. With bpel measurement we push already at max so we have to count also the 0.24 inches non graduate in the full lenght? I hope that the answer is clear. I’m from italy.

Sta-kool I was just looking at your starting stats and they look similar to mine so I was wondering how long did it take you to get to your actual stats. Is it simply with the newbie routine or did you add other things? Thank you

I think you’re talking about rulers that have a gap between the start and the zero line. I think by definition, a rule starts right at zero, and a ruler has a space at the beginning.

Buy a wooden ruler and cut the blank (non graduate) part off! :) Round the edges so it is comfortable to bone-press with.

The wooden one is “Falcon” brand. Seemed to have misplaced the metal one.

Bpel is the lesser of two evils. Pressing to the bone with the same force is difficult but I reckon you improve the accuracy the harder you press; providing of course you do this every time. IGB
