Hey guys I’m new in here and I wanted to know how to begin PE. I also read in the forum something about possible injuries even with the right technique of the practice can I have more information about this?? Information like how can I understand if I have a genetic problem before I hurt my penis or if I can at least use a technique that cannot cause me permanent damage even if a have genetic problem ?? I thing the thread I saw all that was ‘warning to all newbies’. I’M sorry if I wrote something wrong my English are not good !

The only reason for measuring your penis is to find out what size it is so that you can reliably know if your PE is working. So the measurement has to be repeatable.

The most repeatable method is:

For length:

Stand up straight. Have your penis erect and parallel to the floor. Bone press a ruler into the fat pad directly on the centre line of your penis, until it is as close to the pubic bone as you can get it without pain. A wooden ruler is often most comfortable and you can cut the end of the ruler so it has no ‘blank bit’ and starts at zero. Record the measurement.

For girth:

Either use a seamstresses tape measure, or wrap a piece of paper around your penis (either just take a mid shaft measurement, or take a mid, base and glans measurement). Where the paper crosses, mark it with a pencil and hold it against your ruler. Whatever tension you pull the paper to, make sure that is the tension you use every time. Record the measurement.

When you are just starting PE, you will want to measure quite frequently so you learn a consistent measuring method, but once you are happy with how to measure, put your ruler away for a month!!! PE is a very slow process, so if you measure all the time you will not see any change and you will get disheartened and think you are not growing. The first 3 months are about learning how to do the exercises properly and how to feel what is happening to the tissues of your penis as you do the exercises; any growth is just a bonus. If you measure once a month you will see changes and it will give you enthusiasm to continue.

PE start Aug 25, 2013: BPEL 6.7" x EG 4.7" and BPFSL 7".

Paused between Dec 2013 and Dec 2014 due to injury. Careful with those rice socks!

Goal 7" x 5". Ideal is 8" x 6" but let's not even dream about that yet...!

Permanent damage is extremely rare unless you are doing something very stupid with your penis. Reading the injury forum here will teach you about all the common (short term) injuries. Permanent injuries may be scarring if you badly damage one of the chambers of the penis, or erectile difficulties if you damage the valves.

I generally think anyone who has major worries about getting injured from doing PE is better off never doing PE in the first place. They seem to be looking for injuries all the time - for example they make their penis tired with jelqs and can’t get an erection as quickly or easily as normal and they start thinking they have caused some major damage, which makes them panic and get stressed, which then makes it almost impossible for them to get an erection. There is nothing wrong, but they convince themselves PE is dangerous and they have damaged themselves. So it’s better not to do PE at all if you are that type of person.

I am not that type of person and I’m planing on start PE exercises soon but I saw in a thread that there are some people who can cause permanent damage too easy because they have some problem in their valves (sparkyx’s thread) I also wanna learn how to be carefully with the PE techniques. Is My EQ Too Good?

Just the thought of anything quasi-arousing or the insides of my jeans are enough to make me rock hard. It’s extremely difficult to take flaccid measurements and even more so to maintain a 50-60% for jelqing. Any tips for self control?

Mmmm use a tailor tape to measure girth, measure midshaft, at the base and under the glans.

Vince what about you release right before the work out? You’ll get used to jelqing over time.
