I’d imagine these Vitamins ( E and C ) and Acetyl Carnitine are required until the tissues in the penis are healed fully. And the time of which this takes depends on the extent of the damage, and leaving your dick alone ( I.e stop masturbating for a few weeks )

My point is though…does the tissue actually heal? or does cartinine/arginine work like cialis and only increase the muscle relaxtion/ blood flow to a point of what we consider satisfactory erection?

James 1984, id be interested to see what would happen if, after you reached a point at which you felt healed, you stopped taking the suppliments and returned to normal sexual practice.

Would the penis return to its damaged condition?

I dont intend to be pessimistic but from a personal perspective i wonder if i should just stick to the daily cialis use.

I think it’s possible as a user here suffered for a long time and after doing stretches was fixed.

Cured to me says you wouldn’t need to continue supplements but then if taking supplements daily allows you to be normal that is still fixing your problem but just requires constant treatment, if there were no side effects, I would personally settle for it.


While taking cialis is your firm state still present? also, have your nocturnal erections returned?

If you are normal while taking cialis and your doctor says its fine for you to take I would continue, the alternative at the moment is trying something else which may not work. There is still a chance that my improvements have nothing to do with my supplements.

I have no idea, the best way of knowing would probably be to stop taking supplements like you mentioned. My plan is to stop if I do fully heal and if my symptoms did come back, I would restart the same supplements but I would also go to a doctor and explain what happens and ask why, I would then see if I could be offered anything stronger on prescription.

Well lets be optimistic hey we are finding things which HELP a little bit, this is better than nothing.

I agree, I just don’t want to get peoples hopes up and them feel even worst if it wasn’t to improve there situation.

Venomx, yes I have taken Vit E and C for long periods of time.

I havent tryed cartinine. I used to take lots of L-arginine. It seemed to help but eventually it did nothing for me. I would have to take 5-6grams a day to see anything (I had some very good experiences when taking 5grams of L-arginine and Vitamin E and C in the morning. In my honest opinion it was probably placebo.)

I wouldn’t be against the idea of trying cartinine though, I just do not believe anymore that supplements can heal this.

I do however stand by my statement that only limiting masturbation to around twice a week will reduce symptoms. Less than that and it seems like my EQ drops and I have less morning wood.

Let me add one more thing, the one thing that seemed to have permanetly improved my EQ is a pump. I used it maybe twenty times, but unfortunatly it was a cheap one and because un-useable.

I haven’t used it for some time now, and my EQ still remains realativlet good compared to before. Morning wood is frequent and decent.

My dick still doesnt feel quite like it used it.. A lot of times when flaccid it feels softer.. Or “mushier” then it used to.. Which I don’t particularly like.. But the good news is.. It’s rarely firm when flaccid.. It still occasionally goes like that but it’s not so bad anymore..

I find it helpful to try and forget about your dick as much as possible.. Seems to help heal it.

Have any of you noticed weak pelvic muscles since this?

It’s wierd but, it seems I have less muscular control of my testicles (cremaster) and my PC/BC muscles just feel weak through out the day..

My erections have been decent lately though.. Which is good.. Although I still have low libido.

Got my vitamins C, E and L-Carnitine today :D

I do weight lifting/bodybuilding anyway so the L-Carnitine is good for making use of Fats and using them as energy.

Hopefully should see some results.

Vitamin E is also said to encourage blood flow to smaller veins/arteries and Vitamin C said to help repair vessels.

I’m feeling confident in the carnitine as studies actually prove it helps with peyronies, and peyronies is classified as “scar tissue in the penis”. SO even if I have to keep taking it, I really don’t mind, as the tabs are only like £7.

Anyway this has only just started, so I’m going to continue taking those supplements untill they run out. And also STOP watching porn completely ( imagine how hard it is for a 18 year old to do that ).

The thing that keeps the hope alive in the back of my mind is that everything in the body heals eventually, and with the assistance of these supplements, and rest of the penis, I think it can be done.

I think this is what we need to be going by, as it best matches our symptoms and closest matches James’ results. And after reading the last paragraph in that link it really does give me hope. How the vits can assist in repairing the bodies organs.

I;ve only been taking it for 2 days along with vitamins C and E and already less hard flaccids and strong random erections. Hopefully by a month I should be returning to normal.

I think its your pelvic floor contracting. Were you doing lots of kegels or no kegels at all before your injury?
