Once you squeeze the remaining vodka yeah…unless your making compost then you have some nitrogen to add to the pile. But you can use it in the filter as a compress, it’s just a one use kind of thing.

Yes, I read that about arnica, I was going to use it until the small 1 oz tube was empty, I estimate 3 - 4 weeks. If I notice any problems I’ll cease immediately.
Another thing I was going to try for my pumping discolouration was a lemon and parsley paste (home made with my mortar and pestle), both ingredients are known to lighten skin pigmentation quite quickly.

By the way, the hematoma is almost gone, there is only a faint pink patch left.

You can always give a try to helichrysum oil for discolouration, I have no idea if it will work, on the other hand it should definitely help with future bruises/clots.

It took 11 days for the hematoma to completely disappear.
14 days after the burst and there is still a little bump where the damage occured, not sure if it is still inflamed and in the process of healing or has healed with thicker scar tissue, there isn’t any pain.

I received my helichrysum essential oil today , I will try that out instead of arnica for my discolouration. It creates quite a pleasant sensation after applying it neat, a slight tingling and warming sensation, smells nice too.

An update on my injury: the little bump is still there but I really have to pull the skin tight to feel it. I’ll start jelqing (carefully) next week an see how it goes.
