Greetings gentlemen,

First off, thank you for taking the time to read and consider my question. I have been jelqing on, and off for about three years now, but I have been getting more consistent recently.

I have been focusing on girth building exercises, with clamping and pumping being the front runners. I am following the frequent advice of constant heat and prolonged, low pressure pumping. However, my main question is about what goes on in the tube.

When I pump, I don’t seem to get the expansion that a lot of the guys on here are getting. Even at extremely low pressure, I feel it in my unit and I am very hesitant to push the boundary. It feels very tight, with little expansion. There is no lymph build up at all. At the same time, I feel as though this is preventing me from experiencing the expansion that many guys are getting. I pump at >5 hg for as long as comfortable (usually 10 minutes). This is mainly for conditioning, until I feel more comfortable.

I was wondering if I could get some advice from the guys who have gained from pumping. I have seen how effective it is when done right. I was wondering if any other guys experienced this when they were starting out, and how you overcame it.

I wish I could be of help it’s just not something I experienced that is the tightness you speak of. I can say though I never got much or any expansion at 10 min only sets so don’t fret over that.

Thank you pe, and Kings for your input. Your responses tell me that the issue may be exclusive to me.

My current routine consists of 5 minutes of dry jelqs at about 80-90%, 5 minutes of clamping, and 10 minutes of what I consider “conditioning pumping”.

I suppose I was mistaken with this. Basically, after my clamping set, I enter the pump at around 70% erection. I pump to full mast and almost instantly I feel as though I can’t be pumped past this. I guess it may be a mental limitation that I’m putting on myself. I’ll take the advice given and pump for a longer interval, let’s say 15 minutes this time. I’ll report any results or lack there of, after my routine.

I think you should try 10hg for a few seconds to see how it feels then go back to 5, do that several times during your set and I would also pump for at least 30 minutes

Thanks Dv, I will definitely give it a go. I think I was hesitant to attempt higher pumping intervals because I assumed that I had to condition my unit to withstand that pressure over time.

Now I am getting the impression that the way to condition is actually to gently increase intervals for seconds at a time, and for long intervals to see results(I.e <5 hg for a few seconds and then back down to 5). Will give this a go. Pumping after my jog tonight. Thanks for the input guys!

I have start pumping with 3x10min session at 5~6HG. I also use a IR lamp to stay heat. I do squeeze jelq for 5minutes between set & I finish my session with 10 to 20min of wet jelq!

I think you need more sets first and after a couple of week add time in each set!

I’m now at 3x20 and I’m on week 6 of pumping. In my first week of pumping I was at 20cm and now at the end of my sessions I’m at 20.75cm, I also pack the tube faster and my cock stay pump for a longer time frame!

It seems the common theme is more time spent in the tube but opinions differ on the pressure to be used. I will definitely spend more time in and follow your prescribed routine Frank!!

Yes, 10 minutes of pumping won’t do much. Aim for 20-30 Min of pumping and add more sets if you don’t get the desired results.
My sweet spot is around the 40 Min mark.
Try to keep your EQ as high as possible while being in the cylinder. Kegels really help with that.
I like to keep my sets at 10 Min with jelq breaks in between (30-100 jelqs).

Heat really helps with expansion and I think it is essential for pumping.
A heating pad wrapped around the cylinder is my preferred method.

Titleist got a great thread with all the infos you need. Maybe worth a look although it is a pretty long thread ;)

Try to work on stretches Castro12, to soften the tissues (tunica) and be able to achieve expansion, a good warm-up before and during the exercises is always of great benefit.

This is great insight peavy, I suspect that the tightness that I’m feeling is due to tight tissue. You may have hit the nail on the head. Would you recommend stretching before, during, or after the pump set?
