Its five oclock here so my staff is leaving and so I am going to try and nuke a piece of inner tube in boiling water. I still have the old microwave set up so I will start there in case things go badly again.

If it works I will then set up the new microwave.

You don’t have to bake the fucking thing, just get it warm and pliable. Start with ten seconds and go from there. I don’t want the National Firefighters Association on my ass, so please be careful.

Okay, I put the thing in hot water, boiling the water first then putting in the piece of inner tube. I used the old microwave and it stretched quite a bit. I have found a tall narrow glass to pull it over and it will go in the freezer next and see what happens.

Okay I checked my boiled then frozen piece of rubber tube and THINK I can get it to work on Monday> I will let you know.

Loved your innertube in the microwave story! I laughed for 5 minutes. Lucky that no one was there—it would be hard to explain.

I am worried about the possibility of chemical absorbtion through very sensitive skin if you use an innertube. I don’t think it is a good idea.

Bike, I think the same thing and am wondering about the risk/reward ratio. I am going to try it. I am very curious.

My wife’s best friend (recently divorced) has a similar incident with her vibrator. I guess she was all worked up, and the damn thing was too cold, so she decided, in the heat of passion, to give it a little atomic warm-up in the old Radar-Range…….

The batteries exploded, rendering said microwave useless.

Funny is the word Oscar, I can’t really imagine the set up in that office, but it would be hilarious to find out. I keep imagining different sketches, board meeting, job interview, power point presentation and so on and they all start with a close up of the microwave, bursting into flames and no-one bats an eyelid.

Hey guy’s, Bike inner tubes come in many diameter sizes.Skinny ones for racing bikes to fat ones for trail BMX bikes .Most bike shops throw away ones with punctures ,cause they make more money by selling new ones .Try experimenting with several sizes.Also I just cannot understand why, why, why,is everyone wasting $$$$$$$$ on buying acrylic [plastic]chambers,when you can make your own for under $10

One observation on newbier ignorance:
There’s plenty of information out there, but only if you know what words to put in the search engine. That’s why I like it when some one says, "Do a search on___________." How many knew what a "fowfer" was before coming to Thunders?

One suggestion on softening innertubes:
I think they put powdered graphite inside bicycle tubes at the factory—maybe that needs to be washed out before "warming" it in a microwave.

One question on protecting the glans during innertube pumping:
For me, an innertube expands enough to work on girth as well as length. However, I’ve been getting a hard lump between the meatus and where the frenulum comes up to the glans. It’s like there’s scar tissue there that gets irritated by inner tube pumping. I don’t want to mess with condom pumping; inner tube pumping is preferable to me except for the "overexposure" of the glans.
Sparkyx (or someone else) tried to put Saranwrap over the glans so it wouldn’t be exposed to too much pressure when the rest of the shaft is "protected" by the inner tube. I had come up with a similiar solution with a plastic sandwich bag, but the dang thing just got sucked off my glans and into the vacuum tube.
I tried a binder clip on the end of the innertube, but the pressure made it slip off.
I’m still experimenting; 10" Hg works fine on the shaft with innertube pumping, but I may have to back down on the pressure for the sake of the glans, esp. since I jelq in the tube.
Hence the question:
Has anyone else come up with a solution for protecting the glans during inner tube pumping?
