Hi all,

I was going to start hanging this week, but wanted to know if it would even be worth it to only hang 2-3 days a week. That’s about all the time I have alone to hang. I jelq and stretch and have had good success with them, but have reached a plateau. Hanging seemed to be the next logical choice. I would still jelq and stretch on non-hanging days. Should I try it or just stick with the manual exercises until more time becomes available?

I’m jelqing/stretching 5 days a week now. Most of the jelqing is in the shower in the morning. The reason for not being able to hang that often is privacy, not fear of putting forth some effort. Guess I’ll wait until I have more private time available. Thanks XL.

If Privacy is an issue, just wait until everyone is asleep and go “take a shower”. Hanging in bed isn’t a problem, just don’t fall asleep. A Penismaster is a good investment, and it makes it a lot easier to stretch/traction. If you want to get one, just ask me and I can link you to a good site through PM.

I have always had a privacy problem. It has limited my hanging sessions to 2 or 3 days a week also. What really can make the difference is whether or not you keep your unit stretched in between those sessions. If you could squeeze in a fourth session in a week it would make a lot of difference, because then you would be almost at an every other day schedule. That works very well. If that’s all the time you’ve got then an ADS is must to keep your gains, otherwise the healing will destroy potential gains. Anything over 36 hours between sessions can be a toughening period making gains very difficult. If you can’t do an ADS for whatever reason then I wouldn’t suggest hanging at all until you can get the time somehow.

I made a Captain’s Wench last night and hung (for the first time) 5lbs. It seemed to go pretty good as far as comfort. I felt like I was getting a good pull. I was able to do it at my computer desk after my wife went to bed, so maybe I will be able to squeeze in the extra few days after all. I did have some coldness in the glans (more like coolness), but color remained okay. I did four 10-minute sets. Ten minutes was about all I could do because the skin stretch was starting to hurt a bit. I’ll also try and see if I can adapt the wench into a stealthy ADS. I agree, that stretching all day after hanging has to be beneficial. Hopefully I’ll be hanging for at least an hour in the next few weeks. It seems promising.

Your approach is sounding good. The coldness your experiencing is normal especially if color is normal. Per you skin issue your thinking is good. No need to stress the skin abnormally until you break yourself in a little. You’ll be able to extend your time later as you get used to everything. No hurry.
