I got some PMs, where guys asked me about SS4Jelqs hardgainerroutin, that helped me to brake the ice. I had no gains within two years and this changed everything. Well, I’m not the one you should thank for this method, but SS4, and with his agreement, I want to show his program for hard gainers, so that none should search it again for hours in his very long progress report:

First of all, there is a common enemy: the Septum. A cut though our member shows three tubes: 2x corpora cavernosa covered by the Tunica, 1x Corpus Spongiosum which contains the urethra. So the Septum is the place where the two corpora cavernosa meet together. It appears like a very hard bass string (if you know what I mean) that is very tough for PE.

So what to do, to finally get the septum done:

1. We use heat on the top of the shaft for the first half of each set. A good way to do this is, to take a thermal can with boiling water. Place a Teacup next to you on a plate (some of the water will be spread around the cup) and a handkerchief, or towel, or else. Fill the cup and use the towel on the top of the shaft and when it cools down, put it in the hot water in the cup again, to refresh the heat.

2. During the second half of the set, we pull the septum apart. I made a new pic (not that good), cause I don’t want to post SS4’s one here.
The head should be much smaller than in that pic, because you should squeeze the blood out of it to avoid blisters (and it is much more comfortable!)

3. Talk about comfortable: to more stress on the septum, you should add kegels and weight swinging for the whole set.
Now for the upper angel hangers like me: I got a baseball bat balanced on my knees with my feet resting on a box. When the weight swings away from my seated body, I do a strong kegel that I release when it swings back to me.

You can add some manual stretches during the breaks of your sets, that should be about ten minutes long.
After a few sets, you should feel the septum pretty much. Especially when you take away the weight!

My routine: I get up very early in the morning and do 6 sets to 20 minutes. Then I use a traction wrap for the rest of the day. In the evening I hang again 2 – 3 sets of 20 minutes each and use a traction wrap till I go to bed. Sometimes I add some jelqing.

Thanks for this great info. If I have no gains from hanging by 1/31/05 I think I may try this routine.

So how much did you gain from this and over what period of time?

Stats (bp) 2004/08/19 8.0 X 5.5" 2005/08/29 8.2 X 5.8" Goal - I am good for now

I gained in about 2 months:

4 mm BPEL
1 cm BPSL

Girth stayed the same, this was from Okt to Nov. I measure again 1/31/05.

Those are excellent gains for a hard gainer. I am a member of this club as well.

As far as heat is concerned, would rice sock suffice or it has to be specifically moist heat?

You decide, how you want to heat your septum. I use the method I described. You should not burn your member, but the heat makes sure a much more easy stretch of the tissue.

LOL For a second I thought I read 4CM of BREL in 2 months! That would have been truely phenomal for anyone, much more a hard gainer.

4mm every 2 months doesn’t sound like much but over a year that would add a solid inch. I’m wondering- you say you didn’t gain at all for 2 years…did you have any gains before that? Since you’re stretchign up I’m guessing your LOT is 6 already?

Ya! My lot is 6. Well, 1cm in a year would be great for someone like me. NO, I didn’t gain anything in the two years before.

Don’t missunderstand that. It means that the break should be ten minutes long.

Are you pressing the septum both sides at the same time?
I must concur in the effectiveness of your separating the septum. I think I have been doing that in what I’ve been calling fulcrum stretches in three directions. Namely left, right top. Like you, when hanging, I’ll put my thumb on the side of my shaft then I twist opposite that side. IOW if my thumb is on the left side I turn my hips to the right. Than I’ll message that inch or 2 with my shaft bent at a 90deg angle. For the top I just press down until I get a 90deg angle and message that too. All of mine are done SO or SU. All of my SD is taken care of by PEweights the rest of the day. Wish I could get in morning and evening routines.

Lost, How long are you holding your fulcrums? I haven’t been holding over a minute or 2.

I think beating up the septum is almost necessary. For hard gainers like yourself it may be necessary.

Yes push with your thumb and pull with your fingers. I also switched hands throughout the session.

Remember though, this is pretty advanced stuff. Make sure the hanger is 100% secure and comfortable given the extra stress you create through kegels, septum killing and swinging all at once. Intense stuff but necessary in some cases.
