I have been hanging very consistently for about a month now. And i can’t seem to go up in weight any. I don’t understand how you guys freaking hang 15-20 pounds. For me just having a milk jug full half way i feel the ligaments just above my penis getting pulled so hard. And i refuse to go to where i feel i could hurt myself. But i do push the limits and stretch them as much as i can. So am i going to gain at a low weight if i really feel a ligament stretch? Or do i need to get up to 15-20 pounds to get real gains? I read that in a thread somewhere. All answers, Suggestions appreciated. thanks

right i know that, but correct me if i am wrong. Heavier weight will stretch faster then lower weight. Meaning if i hung 15 pounds same amount of time as 5 pounds. I would gain alot more at the 15 pounds.

Unless 15lbs breaks your penis in which case you would gain a lot less than if you had used 5lbs. I had a very hard time moving up in weight with hanging and never hit the high weights that some use. You might want to try hanging a bit heavier than you are used to for a minnie set if you can but remember safety first!

Don’t be in a hurry to increase weight. It’s not a weightlifting competition. I think most hanging vets would agree that it’s best to use as little weight as possible as long as you’re making gains. Read the stickies.

You are probably right hereticender. I need to practice more self-control and stick to a routine. I just have this mentality of, “Man I hope I am not wasting time.” And really want to make sure i am doing it right the first time around. So been reading tons of threads and getting peoples direct opinions. Trying to figure out who’s way works for me. So many peoples contradicts one another. But every penis is different to I guess.

That’s right, every penis is different. Don’t be caught up in the high weight competition. Your probably doing fine listening to your body (penis). Go with what you have for a couple of months and then see if you have gained. One month may not be enough to get a result. Make sure you have an accurate measurement so you know where you are. Gains sometimes come so slow but not in the long run. Much of PE is faith. Just keep up with your exercises and be patient. If you measure too often you likely will get discouraged. Over come that by understanding that this is a work of long duration but the rewards come later. Don’t be discouraged by newbie gains they make all of us vets jealous because we remember those days as well.

If your feeling like you’ve got enough tension, chances are your probably right.

The problem with hanging too heavy a weight is your dick goes into survival mode meaning it actually retracts to protect itself. I found that to be true when I was hanging 17.5 pounds over a year ago. I hung for 4 or 5 months with no gain and then quit PE altogether for 6 months.
After my break I measured again and found I had increased little over 1/4”. I reason this was due to my ligs finally relaxing the length came.
These days I hang as heavy as I can until fatigue sets in. This usually takes about 3 days or so. Then I back off a couple of pounds and keep on hanging.

Fatigue may come from hight weight or longer time, but I personally believe less weight longer time is better, heavier weight will only make your dick get used to that kind of weight and protect itself from real gaining.

I agree,

When I first started hanging I thought that you started at a low weight and then brought up the weight by a pound or two each week and kept on going higher in weights.
I tried it but it wasn’t for me. God, hanging 17.5 to 20 pounds did give me fatigue but it also wasn’t very fun either. Now, as I work behind my desk I hang weights that tell me they are there but not to the point where I feel like something is fucking with my dick. When I get the fatigue and weight just right the stretch actually feels good and I want to keep doing it.
