Hanger's, what do you all do?

I’d like you all(especially the vets) to say what your hanging routine is/was, how much time you hang, what time you usually hang at etc. and what extra things you do that you feel helps you out. And/Or what you feel would be the ideal routine.

I’ll start…
I hang right before bed, 2 hours total hangtime. I hang exclusively between sd and btc, and use a red IR Lamp aimed at my ligs for the first 4 sets, and then turn it off for the last 2 sets to let things cool down naturally while hanging. After my session I do 100 medium jelqs, and then 100 second manual clamps to plump everything back up again. After that I put on a wrist wrap and go to bed.(However after reading about Big Girtha’s “BG-Tuck/Bed Fowfer”, I may start doing this instead of using the wrap.

I think it might be ideal to hang in the morning rather than evening, and then use fowfers and ADS throughout the day too keep things stretched out and healing in the extended position.

That was pretty much my routine also.

The ideal routine? What Bib did, I’d say.

I try to hang as many sets as I can throughout the day. I usually get up at 6:00 am to get in a couple of sets before heading off to summer classes. I wear an ADS wrap while I’m in my classes. Then I’ll hang from 2 pm to about 4 pm depending on how I feel, sometimes more sometimes less. I try to get in a couple of more sets before I head off to bed. Anytime that I’m not hanging I usually wear an ADS wrap. I usually do anywhere from 2-10 sets depending on how I feel, whether or not I’ve got to work, etc. I wish I knew what an ideal routine was. I’ve only gained an eighth of an inch, and started hanging in January, although rather inconsistantly. I believe consistancy is the most important, and seeing some sort of gain each month or so, it really is a motivator to continue plugging away.

My hanging training was almost exactly yours with the following exceptions:

I hung in the morning.

I would turn off the IR light for the last 10 minutes of every set except the last one. On the last set I would ice my ligs for the last 5 minutes (after IR light for the first 15 minutes).

At night, I also went from a traction wrap to what I called ‘xeno’s leg fowfer’, having not read (the as of then not yet posted thread from BG).

I used an ADS system during damn near every waking moment that my penis was not ‘otherwise occupied’.

For me, incorporating these differences into your hanging training program would make for a better training program…FOR ME…obviously, I have no idea if the same is true for you.

I hang between 3-6 sets in the morning when I first wake up, all under IR lamp on Monday throught friday and wear either PE weights or Penismaster throughout the rest of the day. I take Saturday’s off from hangin but still use some type of ADS and some Sunday’s off but usually if I have the privacy I’ll hang anywhere from 1-9 sets. Oh yeah and all of my sets are 20 min in length. Have seen some pretty good gains from this routine.

Many others have said they hang several different sessions a day whenever they have time. I hang once a day for usually 20-25 min sets. How many sets? Usually 3-6. My main point was trying to say that I hang once a day. Sorry I didn’t help you.

No worries Seyz, I was just teasing you on your vague responce. ;)

I also wanted to add that from what I’ve read any seasoned hanger (which I wouldn’t consider myself yet.) will see the best results from hanging 10+ hours a week. Obviously it is difficult to make this kind of time, but I’ve pushed myself to do this. Just today I switched from hanging at night to hanging in the morning. I will be using fowfers and various forms of ADS throughout the day afterwards to keep up a good extended state post hanging. I have just implemented BG-Tucks at night, which I now fully endorse.

I’m kind of like seyz and hang mostly every day unless I’m feeling really sore from the previous day a variable amount of times. Last night for the first time I hung a 10 pound dumb-bell weight off my dick for 2 sets in the SD and BTC position after 1-2 weeks. I could litterly feel my ligs stretching and expanding from never expierencing that weight before. It was almost unbearable at times but then a funny thing happened the more I stayed in one position with the 10 pounds hanging the more my body adapted quickly every 5 minutes and I would feel no more soreness/intensity in the lig area where the hanging was targeting. So then kept shifting my legs and head and body into sliglty different positions as I hung SD and BTC and I could litterely feel I was targeting a bunch of different little lig bundles that were all stretching and elongating little by little. Another tip for hanging is to use your imagination and remember what lig bundles you have relaxed from hanging and try to target as many as you can. Feel your way around your penis as you hang. And yet another tip is by flexing your lower abdomen muscles or sometimes reverse kegeling and holding that you can put more intensity on different lig bundles in different positions. Gains here we come! :)

Also one last thing I learned about hanging is deep sleep will heal you much better of course then no sleep. I did a little expierment and two days I was hanging pretty heavy and stayed up all night because I was so excited because I got some gains and broke my plateau finnaly. The next day I was still a little sore around the base of my penis (I’m not focusing particually on the tunica yet for shaft soreness). Then last nigth when I hung that 10 pounds for the first time I felt pretty worked afterwords for a while and finnaly got some deep sleep. Woke up at about 12:46 today and I can completly tell the difference how the base of my penis feels much more healed and ready to hang again then it did the previous day from staying up all night. Is this a good or bad thing? I would think good since we think we grow when we heal a lot…

Just had to get all this off my chest and contribute a little more information to Thunder’s for our quest in PE. They say teaching others is the best way for us to remember what we learn from what we read or did a while ago. I do believe in this idea. Someday I’ll take it easy with PE and life and general (and I still do relax a lot) but for now it’s down to business…
